    • Versatile and Solid.
Great workbench and storage cabinet. I got this for Christmas and I'm just starting to use it and store my tools in it. This box is built like a Sherman tank with steel partitions and its weight tells the story. I expect it to last at least 50 years (I should live so long). There are 11 drawers of varying dimensions. I can put nearly all my power tools and many of my hand tools in the drawer and I still have space to spare. The drawers have soft-shut tracks so you won't be banging them. The suspension allows you to put up to 100 pounds in all the drawers except the big one on the bottom left that holds up to 200. The cabinet comes with pads to line each drawer so you won't have things clanging and sliding around. The two top drawers are open with a gap so you can easily grab frequently used tools like your tape measure, pencils, etc. I like the raised wooden top because the space under it allows you to use clamps for gluing or to hold the work while you saw or drill. The work surface is a bit high for shorties, but I can use it effectively. I'm not yet sure what to do with the shelf hanging off the end but you could store batteries, cans or whatever there. You can remove it and put it on the other end. I like the lack of a raised back or cover like other models because it can be used for pieces larger than the 22-inch width. Most of the time, I keep the cabinet under my shoplights against a wall covered with pegboard for tools and parts but you can pull it away from the wall easily or move it around your shop, then lock two of the casters to keep it from running away from you while you work. The cabinet came with the power cord shoved inside the cabinet but I managed to get it out through the rubber-lined aperture by removing the power strip and pulling the cord nearly out of the cabinet so I could thread the plug out through the hole (thanks to my wife for that one).. You can plug in appliances or battery chargers and there are also 2 USB ports on the power strip. All-in-all, a fantastic deal. ... show more
