Super easy to put together I did it myself. Directions easy to read with pictures to help if needed. Feels nice and sturdy and will look perfect with pillows when I grab some. Would highly recommend and it came ahead of schedule too!!!

    • Sturdy, attractive bed!
This bed was pretty simple to assemble and is simply attractive. It is one sturdy, hefty, and functional little bed. I used normal-depth mattresses, as the deep kind wouldn't fit well on the trundle, under the daybed. Works well. I find this bed a great value! Recommend it.

    • Decent quality - careful with legs and wheels
Pros - looks pretty nice - assembly process is pretty good - ratchet tool included Cons - the metal is not super strong... most areas not impacted - lots of visible bolt heads... not a huge deal... pics online are accurate - received with some very minor scratches Notes: - manual doesn't say this ... but I really don't think the trundle should be used to sleep or bear any weight while on the floor... it should only bear weight with the legs extended... my son who is about 150 pounds was sitting on the trundle and the wheels did start to bend the metal... you can see where another reviewer took picks of completely bent metal around the trundle wheels. That section of the trundle frame should be strengthened... or the manufacturer should make it crystal clear that it cannot be used as a floor trundle... and should be used only with the trundle legs extended. ... show more

I wish all companies would package products the way this one did! Everything was plainly labeled, tools included. This was probably the easiest item i ever had to put together. The bed itself is sturdy and perfect for what we need.

    • Wonderful bed frame!
Made this purchase because of one major feature the others don’t have! The fact the trundle frame can be lifted up to normal height is awesome! Great for space saving in smaller rooms, while still providing a normal bed height sleeping experience. Easy to assemble, all tools provided with 1 extra screw of each size. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Fairly sturdy, but not for jumping on! :-) Mattress fitment is good, only an inch or so wiggle room all around, but that could vary depending on your mattress.     • Sturdy and well designed
I hesitated to order this bed. It weights nearly 100 pounds when delivered and needs to be assembled. I should not have hesitated. I unpacked it and carried bundles of parts to the bedroom. Assembly went very well. The enclosed tool was amazing. The only problem I had was my mistake. I was able to assemble by myself. I love it! It is sturdy and the trundle glides in and out from under the bed. I napped on it and there are no rattles. A bed is only as good as the mattress - which does not come with this bed.     • STURDY BUT SQUEAKY!
Update 4/16: still have not received any refund that was offered by the company. Bad business practice. Do not offer a partial refund if you have no intentions to follow through. At this point if I could give negative stars I would. Update 1/31: so I reduced to 1 star because I was contacted by the business via Amazon about 2 weeks ago and offered a partial discount which I accepted. To date, I have not heard back from anyone and certainly did not receive the partial discount they offered me. Original Post: Great value, easy assembly, very sturdy.... BUT, it metal on metal creates an annoying squeaking sound. Fortunately this is a transitional bed that will later be used by guests so I won't need to tolerate the squeaks for long. Lost a star for this reason alone. Had to change stars, squeaking inteferes with peaceful dleeping exprrience. This may need to be returned! ... show more
