I was smiling too see my package waiting for me. I took it out of the box, it was covered in a thick vacuum bag clear plastic which was easy to remove and tear off. I could hear the air being sucked in as I made a hole to take the plastic off, lol. It expanded fully instantly! Amazing! I bought the single 4 inch which fit perfectly in my SUV. What a blessing it is to have a clean new bed. Compared to my old one which had no cover, smelled like garlic and was a six inch thick. I jumped right in and layed on the mattress for a few seconds and I couldn't believe how supportive it is. I am about 175 pounds and didn't feel the floor with my hips. It is like sleeping on air. So delightful. This really made my day and if I ever need a new bed, I will choose Millard Firm 4 inch. It has cute little bamboo designs on the bed. Laying in front of the fireplace has never felt so good. And now I can actually get up from the floor without my back spasming from laying on the floor with just a few pillows and blankets. Perfect size for napping by the fire. Great balance between soft and supportive. Simple set up and tri-fold makes for easy storage. When paired with the matching fitted cot sheet it really holds the 3 sections together so no falling in the cracks. Incorporated handles make carrying a breeze. Very well made. Took about 24 hours for it to fluff up completely after being shrunk for packaging. Removable cover makes for easy washing. Overall, one very happy living room camper!!! ... show more

    • BEST GUEST MATTRESS EVER!

I cannot sing enough praises for both the quality and comfort of the mattress, but also for the company itself. My Mom (who is almost 80) came for a visit with her friend. I ordered the mattress late, having just gotten over covid I wasn't even sure if I'd be ok by the time they were to come so everything was on pause, and the order went in late. I ordered this because though I do have a cot I did not think it was going to be comfortable enough for my Mom and because she was not able to get upstairs to the guest bedroom she had to stay downstairs. The company immediately shipped right out, which I so appreciate, and though the mattress did not arrive the day they got here it DID arrive exactly the day it noted on the order sheet, and they tried to get it here as fast as possible. My Mom slept (or rather didn't sleep) on the cot the first night, was not very comfortable for her. This mattress showed up the next night, I set it on the sofa/coffee table square, which was exactly the width of the mattress, and two chairs for the end support, sounds awkward but I didn't want her to have to get down on the floor. I also ordered the fitted sheet, fits like a glove and well made, also ordered the storage case for the XL mattress, fits like a glove and no dog hair or dust getting on it. Back to the comfort.. so I set the mattress up for my Mom, it was about normal bed level, I laid on it myself to test, felt like a dream, got it ready, my Mom got on it and told me it was SO comfortable she thinks she was asleep before I even got upstairs!! She did not toss and turn at all because it held her so comfortably, making this daughter SO happy because it was my Mom's first time at my new house and I wanted her trip to be great. She slept on the mattress the next 2 nights she was here, slept like a baby each time. The tri-fold is not noticeable at all, did not separate, was absolutely PERFECT, and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! I will be taking this mattress, instead of my cot, to my Mom's if I bring a friend along. Also seems like it will work perfectly in the back of my Honda in case I'd like to put down a seat and camp in comfort going cross country. I am utterly thrilled with the quality, comfort, and company behind this mattress. I would give 100 stars if I could, so happy for reading reviews and making the right choice. This is a good product for back sleeping on the hardwood floor. It has the right amount of firmness to not feel the floor while back sleeping, although it’s not quite as comfy as a regular mattress. I can’t speak for side sleeping on this thing, since I’m not a side sleeper. It’s also a good size for laying on top of a large (and old, not very plush) couch, to use the couch as a bed when needed. At first I was a little hesitant because of the price, but upon using the product I became satisfied due to the high quality. No regrets. ... show more
