At last, my roll-away bed is out of sight, and will be easy to take out of this cabinet when we need it. Takes a while to put together, but I'm no cabinet-maker! I recommend this item if you are needing a nice-looking cabinet to store a roll-away bed, or anything, for that matter.

    • Sadly, it's difficult to assemble
I have built furniture, and work with wood...but this was sadly a headache and disappointment. The package is very heavy and required two men to carry it into my house. The quality of the wood was good, but the instructions were poorly illustrated and written. Some of the holes were slanted, not straight, and had to be corrected. Use caution with the quality of the screws, they can be stripped. This product should be assembled by two people. It is too hard to attach one end, run around the piece and try to attach the other end before it falls off. After trying for two days to put this together (cordless screwdriver, wood glue, lots of prayers) I have giving up and the cabinet pieces is leaning against my wall until I decide what to do with it. I have never left a poor review and this item had the potential to be really good. I would suggest back to the drawing board... ... show more

I don't have extra closet space so I purchased both the diplomat folding bed and the diplomat cabinet. Instructions were easy to follow. Now my guest bed hides in plain sight. Very happy with the results.

Poor quality control. Doors are too narrow so there’s a gap between them. The color of the panels don’t match either. Some are bright white, others have a yellow tint.

Went together easy , use the instructions lots of screws , I wish it was more sturdy but it looks great on the deck

    • Fairy hard to put together, comes in many pieces, and had broken and missing pieces
The cabinet came broken with no instructions and missing hardware. When I called the customer service representative said that if I sent pictures they would send me replacement parts. The cabinet comes in many pieces, and would be relatively difficult to put together.

    • Poorly machined and faded paint at the edges of one front door panel
Ok, only one single panel was machined poorly - the holes being slightly more than 1/8th inch mis-drilled. But, it meant assembly - which otherwise would have been no big deal - turned into a misery for sure. You also actually need two people, by the way. As for the painted finish: one front door is miscolored/"faded" around the top edge, either exposed to heat somehow or just poorly wrapped in the box and stored in stock for a very long time. Since we're using it in the garage it's not a problem, but had we actually intended it to be used in a nicer room, it would have meant returning it. ... show more
