Doesn't feel hard. Your body molds, without sinking. Not sure how Milliard does this, but they really do make great mattresses. Instant back pain relief, which was not the case on other mattresses, as there was no support. Best purchase and thrilled with the quality! This mattress is definitely firm! It seems to be great quality. It isn't hot to sleep on and even has handles on the side of the mattress for easy moving.

We followed the instructions and left it to decompress for 48 hours and the mattress did not disappoint. It is firm but not not too firm. For someone older, it’s great because you don’t sink into the mattress when trying to move or get out of bed.
