We opted for an outdoor installation on this product, as the shade we were using prior finally fell apart and the sun shines directly into our front window afternoon, heating up the entire living room. I was impressed the minute I opened the box. The frame is very sturdy, and measures exactly what it is advertised as. The mounting clips are very hefty and are spring loaded, so removal of this shade after the summer will be a breeze. The actual up and down motion of this product is incredibly smooth and trouble free. It includes an eyelet that you mount on the bottom and even comes with a telescoping hook with handle to assist in pulling it down from a full retreat. Once I installed it, I immediately noticed a difference in the temperature of our front room, by at least a couple degrees. I did not have to run the AC as long and the living room stayed relatively cool even after 1pm when the sun usually bakes the room. Great product overall, does what it is supposed to and great quality so far!

This entire installation only took about 10 minutes. The blind comes with 2 brackets and the hardware to mount to wood or plaster. I have a metal door so I used self-tapping screws and not the hardware that was provided. The biggest thing to remember is that you will have to position one of the brackets about 4 inches from the end of the shade so that the lowering and raising mechanism doesnโt interfere with the bracket snapping on to the top of the shade. To mount the shade, you just hook the top edge and push back and the shade will snap into place. Once the shade is in the bracket you can center it into position over the window. You will want to raise and lower the shade a couple of times to get the shade to settle in. I initially thought the shade was too short for my window but after raising and lowering it a few times it fits perfectly. The shade has a nice sleek and professional look to it.

A good price point and they're attractive. Installation was easy, a few screws to attach the brackets then clip on the blinds. Probably took 10 mins to install. Raise and lower mechanism is smooth and the shade provides a good deal of light blocking. My installation was inside mount, which as you can see by the picture does leak light around the sides. This is typical for inside mount, especially for non-custom shades.

My plan was to install these blinds in my guest bathroom but once my daughter realized they were blackout shades she wanted them for her room to help her sleep in now that the sun comes out earlier. Because these are replacing an older set of blinds, installation was pretty fast and easy since I didn't have to remeasure the location for the mounting brackets. They remain in place when pulled down and do a great job of blocking out the daylight. Overall, they work well and my daughter is happy with them, so I am too.

As described.i ordered this light blocking pulldown shade for our bedroom window.i ordered a 34 inch width. so there's 2 inches overlapping on each side, when we mount this at the top of the window sill. It's fairly easy to mount(just a couple screws) and install.easy to pulldown.perfect for keeping the light&hot sun out of our east facing window!
