We are so glad we did. It was less expensive than the one we purchased before and the quality of this one is 10 times better. We could tell from the moment we took the items out of the box that this was a great product. We were able to build it together and it looks great in our home. I also want to point out that their customer service was excellent after one of the pieces was damaged in transit. When we communicated the issue to the seller, they immediately responded and sent a replacement part right away. We received it in a few days at no extra charge to us so we were very pleasantly surprised. The smith machine works great, it has alot of options for exercises, it is sturdy and well put together. It is a great product.

The machine itself as a whole is nice, it has good quality materials and everything works as it should. Putting it together, other than the base, nothing lines up perfectly so you will have to pull and push the bars to line them up, doesn’t mean it’s wonky or wobbly, or it sits uneven or anything, once it’s all together it’s great, and the instructions aren’t bad but they could definitely be better. If you’re picky and a*** about stuff, for the cost of this machine the brand sign will probably bug you because it’s not cutout into the metal how the picture shows, it’s just a sticker, so it looks very cheap and cheesy.

The heavy duty parts go together well. The instructions were easy to follow and videos online. I think the only negative about this machine would be the storage and how it’s positioned but besides that everything works feels and can hold a lot of weight.

This is a very well built and sturdy machine. We received the 4 boxes over 2 days (2 each day). Everything was included and packed well without any damage. It took the better part of a day to unbox everything and assemble by myself, but it was not difficult to follow the instructions. After getting it assembled, this smith is easily the best bang for your buck. I saw a couple complaints by YouTube reviews stating the cables don’t work too well with light weight. This is true, however a couple squirts of a silicone lubricant on the poles immediately solves this. Additionally, each cable has two posts for holding weight plates. It is important to balance the weight you want to lift on both posts. Rather than placing a 25lb plate on 1 post use 1-10lb and 1-2.5lb plate on each post and the cable glides exactly like any commercial grade cable system. If you only use 1 post for weight plates , it will slightly drag. My only complaint is the lack of something to hold down your legs when going heavy on lat pull downs. Without anything over your legs, you will be lifted out of your seat. Hopefully this will be an added attachment as it is very much needed.

Overall a decent machine. Definitely well built, much beter quality than the Marcy smith I've been using. Oneof the boxes got delayed about a week. Packaging could be a little better, came in in pretty rough shape from FedEx. Some of the paint/coating rubbed off some of the parts. Instructions are small pictures, no real Instructions to it. That needs major improvement.
