We had a potting shed in our backyard that we let our kids use for arts and crafts. As they've gotten older, we started to dream of other uses for the space. After some research, measuring many times, and double checking with friends that have garage gyms, we decided to turn the space into a home gym. The Mikolo M4 2.0 Elite was the perfect solution for our small space. The shed is 8'x16' and we feel like we have plenty of space for the machine, a set of barbells and still leave a corner for the arts and crafts for the kids. This machine has just about everything you need for a home gym. We also added a 6' barbell, a set of change plates (set of two each: 2.5, 5, 10) a set of dumbbells and some flooring tiles. The absolute best part of this is not having to wait for equipment at the gym and the 5 foot commute outside to go workout. Setup took some time, but my husband was able to do it mostly by himself in an afternoon (we helped him get the main frame set in place). The frame wobbles a little if you try hard to shake it, but it is overall very solid. The aluminum pulleys were a nice upgrade and the red color looks really nice. ... show more

Great equipment and excellent customer service. This Smith machine has everything, and the rig itself has storage for all the accessories (various grips and the lat pulldown bar, safety bars, dip bars, j hooks) that it comes with. As a 5'2" woman, I needed another person to help stand up the first few pieces of the frame while I bolted them, but I was otherwise easily able to assemble the rig myself. The cable threading diagram could have used more detail, but the rest of the instructions were easy to follow. The front top pulleys need to be threaded completely outside the metal cage, and the cable guides need to be positioned at 12 o'clock for the middle and rear upper pulleys, or they shred the cables. I had a few questions, messaged the seller, and had responses almost immediately both times. Customer service was amazing. ... show more
