Quality bowls and plates with a stunning pattern!
Mikasa really makes some high-end dinnerware. This set did not disappoint. The design is beautiful and reminds me of sliced geodes. The plates and bowls are thick. They are handcrafted, but you would not be able to tell because they are all uniform in size. The plates are large enough for a full-sized meal with sides. The bowls are great for cereal in the morning or soup at night. They wash easily and can be put into the washing machine. The color is deep grey blue and looks really unique!

Subtle and versatile - casual to dinner party dishware
We love these dishes because they are pretty with a subtle pattern that can be used everyday but also to host a small gathering. These can either take center stage or they can frame or enhance bold table decorations. We’ve been using these exclusively and they come through the dishwasher without any problem and I haven’t found any chips or damage, even though some in our family are rougher on dishes than others. All the pieces are standard sizes and just what we need for family meals or having friends over. I’ve gotten compliments from friends on a pretty table when it was set with these dishes. These can look fancy or casual and I’m so glad to have these in my cabinet.

Pretty, but they get hot
These dishes are pretty and my wife likes them. However, I’ve noticed that they seem to get really hot in the microwave. Not sure why, but that makes them a little bit less of a good choice in my opinion. Either way, if the design suits you, then I’d say get them.

Stylish and Durable, but a Bit Pricey
Dinnerware set has a sleek and modern design, and the gray color looks elegant on the table. The plates and bowls feel durable and well-made, with a good weight to them. I’ve been putting them in the dishwasher regularly, and they’ve held up perfectly with no signs of wear or damage. The packaging was excellent—everything arrived securely with no issues. My only complaint is that the set is a bit pricey, but overall, it's a great choice for a stylish and long-lasting dinnerware set.
