The Miidi shoe sole replacements arrive with the two soles separate but the two heels are in one piece and must be cut apart. The size is extra large so they will fit pretty much any size boot or shoe. No glue or adhesive is included. They come in a plain plastic wrapping that includes absolutely nothing in the way of directions, instructions or shoe repair tips. There are minimal instructions on the listing however in order to understand best practices for using these rubber sole and heel replacements you will need to so some research online. In order to cut the rubber pieces to size you will need a sharp pair of scissors and/or a new blade on your utility knife. After cutting the pieces they need to be prepped for gluing with some rough sand paper to both the back of the rubber and the remaining soles and heels on the shoes (the back of the soles looked like they had already been roughed up but I used sand paper just to be safe). Having a way to clamp or press the shoes after gluing is helpful and will ensure complete adherence. It is time consuming and tedious but with the right tools and instructions they do the job. These are very generic looking soles with relatively deep treads for traction. They are bendable but firm and resistant and appear durable. The rubber soles can be trimmed or sanded after curing for appearance. For the current price of $9.99 they are worth the money since a shoe repair shop will charge a lot more and it’s much better to save old shoes than to buy new ones environmentally and financially. I figure if they give my shoes a few more months of use it will be worth it.

These sole replacements for women’s boots seem a bit big. I know you can and will need to cut them down, but they seem oversized to start with. The rubber is a good quality and the pattern is good for traction. These were a bit of a beast to cut through but glueing them on was pretty easy (glue not included btw). Decent way to fix up a pair of boots my wife loves and can’t bring herself to throw away or replace quite yet.

These boot soles look and feel sturdy. They’re the same thickness as all of my husband’s boots and shoes with this type of sole. I bought the size large, and they are big enough to overlap all the boots they would be suitable for (men’s size 9.5-10). These should be great for extending the life of my husband’s boots, as he tends to walk off the outside corner of his heels. Some edges have extra rubber leftover from the molding process, but it doesn’t matter since these will need to be cut to fit and sanded anyway. The inside layer is more flexible, and the lugs are thicker and more rigid. Overall, I’m very pleased with these and will be sure to update my review once I see how they hold up to wear.

The idea here is to glue on these replacement soles to a pair of shoes/boots that are otherwise fine. The kit comes with two sole parts and two heel parts, and having them separate allows you to more easily cut them to fit. These are made of rubber, not some cheaper silicone material, so they should last long. One tradeoff is that they're pretty hard to cut, but you only have to do it once. It's not so bad if you take your time and go slow. It might be helpful to trace the outline of the sole onto a piece of heavy paper or thin cardboard and then trim that template, but I didn't have to do that. My pair of Crocs had worn down to the point where they were actually a safety hazard, so these replacement soles and heels worked perfectly. I was skeptical that the adhesive I used would hold, but it did with no problem. This replacement kit extended the life of my Crocs and I now have great traction, so I'm very pleased with this kit.

No practical instructions are included however, there are some very simple rudimentary instruction on this page. It basically states to trim, clean, sand, glue, clamp, wait 24 hours, trim again, then finally wear them. While it doesn’t look too hard to do, I would do some preliminary research on replacing a sole on a boot. These soles are fairly large sized and should fit most boots. They are hard rubber but with some flex to it. They seem higher quality and should be very durable. They are thick so to trim them, you do need a good pair of sharp and strong scissors. For best results, you should use shoe glue which is not included. I’ve included a size comparison of the sole with a 9 1/2 size shoe.

These rubber boot soles are made of sturdy materials that will last a long time. They are fairly easy to cut and fit to your exact size, and come with both heel and toe replacements. The heel is thicker than the toe portion, just like most boot bottoms. It's a great way to recycle shoes where the sole has come apart, but where the rest of the boot is still intact. They're also a great price for what you get. They come in a no-frills plastic bag without extra packaging which is great.

They're not Vibram quality but these are fine shallow-lugged boot/shoe soles for home resoling on the cheap. The rubber has a slight unpleasant plasticky smell out of the package due to offgassing but it clears up quickly with air. They're reasonably hard but have a bit of flex and seem trimmable (I haven't yet tried to cut them down). The heels come molded together as a cut-apart piece, not a big deal. A fine choice if offered at a low price.
