i use it a lot and it curls my hair greatly BUT i have to add the blue skala conditioner as a base for it could truly work as advertised. i might be stating the obvious but it smells like lemon— a lil too much. u can only smell the lemon but not the ginger. it is a prtty strong smell so if u don’t enjoy that, I recommend not buying it. otherwise, it’s great

This gel is definitely not my holy grail. The scent was a little off for me, kinda strong and not in a good way. Texture-wise, it left my curls crunchy and heavy, like they were wearing a weighted blanket they didn’t ask for. I found it a bit drying too, which is a no-go when your curls are already thirsty for moisture. That said, I wouldn’t totally toss it. In a pinch; like if I’m out of my regular go-to—I can make it work by mixing it with a curl cream or a little conditioner to soften the crunch and bring back some hydration. Not a complete fail, but definitely not a repurchase.
