Our wire dog crate covers are designed to fit single door & double door wire dog crates to provide the privacy, security & comfort that dogs instinctively need and desire by creating a more "den- like" atmosphere for your dog which can help reduce anxious behavior such as barking & chewing. The dog cover measures 48L x 30.25W x 32H inches & is designed to fit the New World & iCrate dog crates (model 's 1548U, 1548DDU, B48, B48DD) but will also fit most standard 48" long wire dog crates as well (dog kennel covers are available in 4 other sizes). NOTE if you are buying this crate cover for another manufacture's dog crate, please make sure to measure the outside dimensions of the dog crate to confirm you are purchasing the adequate size of crate cover for your wire dog crate. Each crate cover is made of a durable poly / cotton blend & has "hook & loop) tabs for each side flap to fit firmly over the dog crate. This product is well made, hard for pets to move, and works well. I have a 7 yr old maltese who STILL chews on cords and shreds anything left in the floor when I leave. I couldn't stand the thought of locking her up in a tiny little kennel when we have to leave her at home, but I needed to somehow ensure her safety. She can just jump right over standard size baby gates, so that plan failed, and so did shutting her in my bedroom - where she tore up the carpet trying to escape. I bought 42" and she cannot jump over it at all. (She can jump the height of a doorknob on a standard size door) she cannot knock it over either. We fold this out in our kitchen and put her bed and food and water and some toys and treats before we leave, and when we return, it folds up quick and easy to be put away. We slide it behind the sofa and it is out of sight. This is truly an excellent product for any pet owner who needs to protect their pet when they leave home. **********ETA*********** This week we have had a kitten with loose bloody stools (she has seen a vet and it is confirmed that it is frm the stress of weaning off the momma) that needed to be seperated from the others (we are giving her medicine that goes in her food to stop the diarrhea). The kitten is way bigger than a weaning kitten should be, but the momma (who had two other babies that died within an hr of birth) just now started weaning her at 4.5 months old(vet also okayed this, since it was likely a bonding thing). This has proved a wonderful lifesaver in keeping her in an area where she and only she is getting her meds and I can monitor her stools.this product has really been a game changer for us ... show more
