I've had an all-white, fluffy, goose down feather comforter on the bed in my guest bedroom for a years. I live in South Texas where the temperatures rarely dip below freezing during the winters and the summers are becoming increasingly more brutal. A few guests have taken that comforter off of the bed because it was too warm, and I was ready for a change in the room's appearance anyway. So, when this ENJOHOS comforter & sham set became available I thought I'd give it a try. I received it for free in exchange for this unbiased review. What first attracted me to this quilt, besides the simple yet contemporary-looking design, was that it is 100% cotton. I do not like synthetic fibers against my skin so demand cotton bedding. I was a bit skeptical about the product quality due to the reasonable cost, but was happy to be proven wrong as this product does not disappoint. When it first arrived my skepticism surfaced again because it was packed in an unusually small box for a queen-size comforter. However, I was happy to learn that it's compact size was due to it being compressed within a vacuum sealed bag. Upon it's removal from the bag it fluffed up quite nicely, without the ample fold creases that I was expecting. The cotton outer shell is soft and the stitching is quite nice, with white threads interwoven with darker threads to give it a grey appearance. While some reviews describe this as too thin, it does have insulating fill constrained within the straight-threaded compartments, providing a comfortable lightweight warmth that is perfect to the climate in my region. The weight and composition also allows it to be washed at home, whereas my thicker feather comforter has to be dry-cleaned. In my case, the gray (almost blueish-looking) color with it's attractive white-crossed pattern provides nice contrast with the white-painted wooden bedframe in my guest bedroom, but this would go well with many different decors. And it being slightly oversized provides a nice looking drape that just reaches the lower bedframe. I find myself visiting the bedroom to look at it and feel it again. If you're looking for a reasonably-priced, lightweight but cozy comforter for spring and summer, I could highly recommend this product. ... show more

Under quilts, or 'layering quilts' have fallen by the wayside in recent decades, but I still employ them. The idea is that you use two lightweight quilts. A pretty one to use spring through fall, and a plain one to layer under it during the winter. So again, it's a wonder quilt, soft and well stitched, nice fabric, etc . . . it's just so darned ugly I don't see why anyone would put it on display. I mean, it almost looks like a moving blanket . . . and they actually included shams! As though those things are going on top of anyone's bed. We are only two people and a French bulldog in a king-size bed, but we are somehow always fighting for covers. This oversized quilted bedspread is the perfect size for my bed. Unlike my others, it can be tucked in on all sides, or left to hang almost to the floor. We finally have enough covers to not have to fight for them, and it just looks much better and is easier to make the bed because I don't have to be so precise. Note that I have a very low-profile bed frame that is only 7 inches off the floor and the spread nearly touches the floor, but most bedspreads I own barely cover my 12" mattress. There is a thin layer of quilted batting which is the perfect weight for my South Florida bedroom which I keep at 72 degrees. I slept very comfortably with just a sheet and the quilt. It was just heavy enough and I was neither hot nor cold. The color, texture, pattern, and stitching detail are interesting and perfect for my decor. I would describe the grey as stone grey. The sticking feels quality, but I have not yet washed it. I am very happy with this find for my master bedroom. ... show more

I acquired this quilt set for the quilt. I wanted an additional layer for the colder winter months, and this works just great. I'm a big fellow -- 6'4" and uncomfortably close to 300 pounds -- so it takes a lot to cover me, (😁) and this does the trick with plenty of material to spare! And, yes, I could tell, as soon as I pulled the covers over me, that I had the extra layer, and that I was warmer than before. This is a high-quality set, so I anticipate that I'll be able to use it for years to come, without fear that it'll wear out. Just what I was looking for! Recommended! ... show more

I know quilts are usually thin but there are some that have a little fluff to it. This set has none. It's heavier type of flat sheet if I was to describe it properly. The pattern, however, is absolutely gorgeous. The polka dots contrasted against the dark grey makes it an easy pairing set. I like layering my bedding so I have a thick comforter on the bottom with this quilt layered on top to give it contrast. It's a good summer piece. ... show more

The quilt is an extremely good buy priced very reasonable for a queen size quilt and two shams. The dark grey will look good with almost any decor. It’s light weight and should be good for warm spring and summer nights. The stitching is straight and true and the quilt appears to be well made. I couldn’t see any loose threads anywhere on the quilt. The cotton material is soft and smooth to the touch. This is really a nice quilt priced very reasonable which I can recommend with a five star rating. ... show more

This comforter is a little on the thin side, compared to other comforters, but it's the perfect addition to our guest room bed. While it's thinner than typical, it still keeps you toasty warm. It's made very well - the stitching is expertly done, with no pulled or loose threads. If you're looking for thick and plush, this isn't it - but if you're one of those who likes to keep warm at night without the bulk, this is exactly for you. Definitely recommend! ... show more

This is a nice looking comforter but it is not as thick as it looks in pictures. It comes vacuum packed so it did take 24 hours to fully puff up but it still is not fluffy by any means. But if your looking for a nice summer weather comforter or a hot person this is a good choice.
