still learning on all the tricks of setting it up, since its my first midi controller but its awesome id say. love the look of it in purple. vibes of the old school nintendo transparent era. the controller links up like instantly and no issues for me. the keys are well sized and solid. all the hardware is solid so far. awesome value on it Synido especially for an amateur as i am because i dont want to spend too much for my first controller since its so new to me. will say though. wish i could get the transport buttons to function but all the others i got working, the issue is that i just cant get a straight answer online but if synido and flstudio had a script for the programming preloaded on their daw it would help.

I picked up the Synido 25-key MIDI controller as an affordable entry into music production, and overall it’s a solid little unit for the price. The biggest strength here is portability. Like most 25-key controllers, it’s compact and easy to throw on a desk or take with a laptop setup. These smaller keyboards are designed for quick note input and basic production work rather than full performance, which this one handles well. The keys are velocity-sensitive and responsive enough for laying down melodies, chords, or basslines without much hassle. The pads and knobs are a nice bonus at this price point. The drum pads are decent for tapping out beats, and the assignable knobs make it easy to tweak sounds in your DAW. It’s clearly aimed at beginners or casual producers, but it gives you enough control to actually be creative without feeling too limited. Setup is simple—plug-and-play via USB, and it works with most major DAWs. No complicated setup, which is great if you’re just getting started. That said, there are a few trade-offs. The keys are smaller and feel a bit light compared to higher-end controllers, which is pretty standard for this size and price range. Build quality is okay but not premium—you can tell it’s more budget-focused. Also, with only 25 keys (about two octaves), you’ll find yourself using octave shift buttons a lot if you’re trying to play more complex parts. Great compact controller for a home studio
I bought this mainly to use as a controller for my home composing setup. I already own an older 25-key MIDI keyboard that has served me well, and this one definitely does not disappoint. The build quality is surprisingly good. The pads are firm but very sensitive, so it is easy to get the right velocity for drumming and sampling. The keyboard itself feels solid and well made. The keys are smooth, responsive, and actually a bit larger and deeper than the ones on my older 25-key controller, which makes it much more playable. It also came with a nice cleaning cloth and a crossbody bag. The bag has plenty of room and makes it super easy to take the keyboard with me. The quality of the bag is better than I expected. The included software was simple to download and set up. Overall, this is a great choice if you need a compact MIDI controller and keyboard for a home DAW setup. It works well, feels sturdy, and is a solid value for the price.

Capable budget controller once you get past the software setup

If you are looking to get into beat-making or music production, this 25-key controller packs a lot of features into a small, portable footprint. It has solid compatibility with standard DAW software, and the physical build feels reasonably durable for being mostly plastic. The keys and drum pads have decent velocity sensitivity, though the pads are on the stiffer side and require a pretty firm tap to register fully. For complete beginners, the initial setup and MIDI configuration aren't exactly intuitive. It isn't particularly easy to use right out of the box because mapping the knobs and routing the software takes some patience. It does get the job done, however, and once you have it mapped to your virtual instruments, tapping out baselines and drum loops is much faster and more natural than clicking around with a computer keyboard and mouse. It is a highly functional budget controller, but you should expect to spend some time reading the manual and configuring your software before it runs smoothly.

Cheaply made and poor functionality

Don't fall for the video hype, look elsewhere. Within two days of owning this and barely using it one of the control knobs started glitching and changing the values erratically on its own (pay attention to the display screen in the video). Just barely tapping the knob would cause it to go wild and move values up or down. Because it was erratic I couldn't use other knobs because it would interrupt them, unless a kept pressure on the broken knob. I noticed that the knob felt a little looser than the others as well. In addition to this the pads weren't responsive enough and would miss beats if tapping 16th notes at a moderate to high bpm. The tap tempo function was terrible as it just seemed to make its own bpm up based on what you tapped; it didn't match a metronome at all and can't be mapped to ableton's metronome. I could take or leave the design. Its glossy and picks up a lot of fingerprints. I would say that the neat features like onboard CC control and arp. controls are just bells and whistles used to mask and distract from its lesser qualities. Save yourself the stress and waste of time and just save a couple more bucks for one of the more reputable brands.

I like the Synido 25 Key USB MIDI Keyboard Controller. The keys and pads have a good feel and sensitivity. You get all the necessary cables and a carrying bag also. The editing software works well also. The only drawback I found was that you can't edit the pads and hear the sounds as you program the pads, but that is common with controller editing software to prevent software conflicts. The Synido K25 has the ability to upgrade it's firmware by using the Synido editing software and I demonstrate how to do it near the end of the video at Time: 25:06. Good controller, Good Price, Easy to use. 5 Stars.

I bought the tempokey and 1 key worked half the time and the others worked all the time so I reached out to synido support and showed them video proof of the key not working properly and they sent me a new one that works great! Highly recommend the company. It's class compliant so no need for software but they do offer a software to edit the keys and customize it to your liking and firmware upgrade. It comes with a pretty good carry case 👍

Bad customer service
Can’t get the device to work on my Mac with the app and have checked WiFi, Bluetooth and settings but it won’t let me connect to my MacBook with the app they recommend and can’t get a response from manufacturers about this.
