For the money, this powerful little unit really works well. I use it to boost the cooling on the second floor of a cape cod style home with no attic above the ceiling.     • Good operation, easy to set up and use
The only downside is an mid-level buzzing sound from the compressor. It is expected and not overly irritating. It works for a college dorm room and my child said the sound is not intrusive and drowns out the ambient noise while sleeping.

    • Not blowing cool air after a year
used for 1 summer then stored. after a year it is not blowing cool air. tried contacting support they said that the warranty is expired well to be fair it was a month after the warranty expired but yeah it was a total waste of money.

    • The remote could use one work
It's not to loud but loud enough that I cover it with pillows when I sleep. It's cold and cools my room easily in the az desert. With alot of monitors heating up the room. The remote you have to face it perfectly at the top or it will not work

This is the second portable air conditioner that I have bought. Different brand. Gotvthe size for 150 sq. Ft room. Which is perfect. Assembly was easy, about 15 minutes with reading the directions. It cools my room very well but it's very very noisy. The noise is a big downside. The controls on both the unit and the remote control are basically straight forward. This tiny Portable AC keeps my room below 70 if I wanted too and it's 96 outside. It's energy efficient, automatically turns off at night when it's cool, and it doesnt make a loud roaring sound when the AC kicks in. I would give it 6 stars if I can.

This thing is a rockstar. I purchased an 8000 BTU unit last year, and it barely cooled the room. I've used this one for a few months now, and it is a constant stream of ice cold air coming out. Would definitely recommend.
