    • I mean, JUST BUY AN M1 MACBOOK AIR. Really.
Its a really good computer, especially tempting at this price (it was at $3200 when released just 3 years ago, I got it for 1200 in excellent cosmetic condition). But it actually performs worse than an 8gb (yes, 8gb of ram) M1 Macbook Air 2020 in almost every task, and you can get a refurbished/used one for a fair deal less (~$700). I'm biased cause i've tried both and preferred the M1 but here are some key points: Reasons to buy this over macbook air m1: • Bigger screen - This was one of my obsessions before buying it, coming from a 13 inch and... Its not that big a difference. Its like a 20% percent increase i think, it doesn't make that much of a difference if what you need is screen real estate. • When doing heavy work like video or batch photo editing, certain heavy formats (like 8k Pro Res or 40MP photos) export faster thanks to the amount of Ram. - I don't edit 8k video, plus waiting a couple extra minutes while it exports wouldn't be relevant to me, especially since the m1 is perfectly usable in the meanwhile. Reasons to buy an M1 over this. • Battery is foolish. Lasts three times as much. • Lighter, more portable. • Faster in general use, even with fairly heavy workloads like photo and video editing. • A fair deal cheaper. • Doesn't turn into a Boeing jet engine when video editing, its silent. The media could not be loaded. Major issue with touch bar flickering nonstop, right out of the box. Very frustrating to look at.

1. The packaging, it's just maskedly cheap, a cardboard box for locking the MacBook and a bag with a power supply and cable, the power supply is also used and worn. 2. The condition of the Macbook itself seems to be fine, there are light scuffs on the top cover and on the sides, but they are not significant and if it were not for a scratch near the Apple icon, you could not pay attention to it. But since I paid $960, I expected a better situation. Now it's for ~$880 and I would recommend buying it for that price. Because for the price without discounts, that is, around $1200, you can buy a used Macbook 2022 and also a pro for m2. Summary: I really miss a clear description of the state, as I also took a mac mini 2018 also renewed here and it was packed like a new product from Apple, the box is in film, the mac mini is in a bag of film, the ports are sealed with a sticker, etc. And here there is no grade A or B indicated and so people are often disappointed. Bought this laptop 12 months ago, never fell, never had any harsh impacts whatsoever. The screen got a long pink line around the 6 month period, then two weeks ago. The thing literally just stopped powering on. Do not recommend getting this
