The controller WOW'd me when I opened the box. The colors are absolutely beautiful and one of the prettiest Xbox controllers I have ever owned (and I've had a ton, even ones I've customized myself). Haven't tested it out yet, but I will definitely edit this post once I do! EDIT: Amazing controller!! However, in the last photo of the left joystick (and the right one has it too) it's starting to turn a dark color and I don't know why. Now, only my boyfriend and I use this Xbox Series X and we constantly wash our hands. Has anyone else had this issue with this controller? Otherwise it's flawless! I've tried cleaning it off and it doesn't budge. EDIT EDIT: After a closer inspection, I believe it is NOT the joysticks getting dirty, but them actually losing their color from use, AFTER ONLY ONE WEEK!!. If this is a case I may have to buy covers that are black for it. It's a shame. I really thought this controller was gonna last a while. ... show more

Couple of differences are the charging port is USB-C which is fantastic because almost all devices nowadays use USB-C, the triggers are very grippy and it feels great to handle. Lastly, the D-Pad. Feels great and it does it's job. What kinda threw me off was the way it was redesigned but now I understand why it was designed this way. I bought this controller to play fighting games [SF6 atm], it's one of the best controllers for most fighting games and I hope it survives long enough. Will definitely buy another one soon just to have a spare. ... show more

The controller is almost exactly like the Xbox series X controller. It has a awesome design, and an awesome grip! Only thing i could complain about is that it was dirty on arrival, but i could easily clean it off. Would recommend this to people!

Within 30 minutes of receiving the controller, there was a slight stick drift on the left joystick. It was super noticable, and still usable. Also, the right trigger sticks down a little bit and causes my gun to fire when I play Fortnite, which is not ideal. So, I got my hands on the Xbox Core Wireless Gaming Controller, and let me tell you, it's a total game-changer! First off, the design is slick – matte black and seriously comfy grips that make long gaming sessions a breeze. Setting it up was a piece of cake, and the wireless connection is spot-on, with minimal lag. Plus, you can use it with all sorts of devices, thanks to the Bluetooth magic. The controls are top-notch – the improved D-pad and responsive thumbsticks give you serious gaming precision. And the Share button? Genius move! Snapping and sharing epic gaming moments just got a whole lot easier. Oh, and no more hunting for AA batteries! The rechargeable battery and USB-C charging mean you're always ready for action. To sum it up, the Xbox Core Controller is a must-have if you're serious about gaming. It's comfy, it's cool, and it seriously amps up your gaming experience. I almost took a star off for Xbox not including a USB-C cable with this purchase, but it's not in the description, so I can't take off a star for not getting something that wasn't included in the description. It does mention a USB-C cable here: "COMPATIBILITY: Plug in any compatible headset with the 3.5mm audio headset jack. Connect using the USB-C port for direct plug and play to console or PC.*" Xbox should include a cable going forward in my opinion. I could've purchased a wired controller, but I wanted the wireless, and then have a cable to plug it in when the batteries run out of juice. I ended up going out to pick up a cable for 10 bucks though. The controller itself is perfect however. The feel of it in my hands is outstanding. I can get an easy 3 to 4 hours of gaming before my hands start to feel cramped. If I take a 20min break, I can go another 2 to 3 hours. The hand grips are a bit textured underneath, so I don't have to deal with slipping when my fingers might get a little sweaty. The triggers are also a bit textured so your fingers don't slip off the edges. The thumb sticks are a little small, so I ended up picking up some GeekShare grips, feels a lot better now. I use this on a PC, not an Xbox. For anyone wanting to get a gamepad for PC, this one is perfect. Overall, I gotta give it 5 stars, solid product by Microsoft/Xbox. ... show more
