I haven't played with this much as it was a Christmas gift for my 17 year old son. I have heard my wife and him in giggling and laughing while playing games with it though and he has repeatedly stated how it is the coolest thing that he didn't even know he wanted. It allows for voice commands to the XBox and I hear him telling the XBox to do things all the time. Its usually the first thing he shows off to his friends when they come over. This one was refurbished and so far it has worked flawlessly. It was a great buy for the kid that has everything.

First, I would like to say that with 36 years of IT experience, I understand that things happen. Now to the review...I received the sensor from SupremeDealsCR and hooked it up. It worked for about 7 hours and then died. Some troubleshooting indicated that the sensor camera had stopped working. Per the enclosed documentation, I contacted Max at SupremeDealsCR rather than contacting Amazon. All I can say is SupremeDealsCR has amazing customer support. I had very fast and positive interaction with them and they quickly sent me a replacement sensor (2 days). I ran the sensor for about 12 hours incident free. Max contacted me the following day with a follow-up to ensure that everything was functioning properly and that I was happy with the support. Thank you Max and SupremeDealsCR! It is rare to find such fantastic customer service.

Easy to install, works about half the time. May be because it arrived in the mail with the base broken. I tried to glue it back together, and I am not sure if the device is supposed to move or if it is stationary. Obviously, because I glued it, it does not move.

I got this for $60.00 which is a good deal for the Kinect bundle even when it is refurbished. First unit did not turn on at all and received an exchange in 2 days. Replacement unit has been working perfectly and it appears brand new (no scratches or wear and tear signs). The bundle comes with a separate power adapter for older Xbox 360 consoles that do not have the dedicated Kinect connector on the back that provides power. In my case I use this with a Gears of War Themed Xbox 360 which is one of the newer models. As for the performance of the sensors, I am using it in a spacious area without any objects that could interfere with the sensors. I have used it in dim and low light conditions and it still recognizes commands and movements. Voice recognition is kind of hit or miss, you have to be very clear with the pronunciation. Overall, its a good buy even when it is refurbished.

Fast delivery! I ordered a Kinect. It works well and I paid less compared to what others were selling it for. Please be advised....It does not come with adapter. I was aware of it by reading the reviews so I bought an adapter before ordering. I was prepared. 👍🏽

The sensor arrived in very good condition. It was almost like new - very minimal scratches and smudges. I was so excited to begin playing, until I realized that the sensor was defective. It will start up and work for about 2-5 minutes, and then completely crashes my Xbox 360. I also notice that when this happens the green indicator is no longer flashing. Even though this was a $30 investment - I would highly recommend potential buyers to pass on this. Furthermore, I think there may be a software or discontinue issue here...I notice that electronic retailers (Best Buy, Fry's, etc.) no longer carry the Kinect sensor for the 360; instead, they are pushing the Xbox One and the sensor for that model. Long story short: Do Not Buy!!!

The refurbished Kinect came in a special box, complete with all of the goodies one might need. I wasn't expecting to have the external power adapter come with it, since it's usually a separate accessory purchase from the new-in-box Kinect. Kinect Adventures came shrink wrapped and complete with all extras. The quality of the unit is like new. Not a scratch, functions fine, calibrates easily. I would recommend a refurb to anyone.
