I'm an IT professional and did a lot of research before buying. I finally settled on the Surface Pro 9 and ordered one of these last week. Shipping was fast via FedEx and the first thing I did was fire up dxdiag to check the specs. For the steep price I expected a lot. It was everything we wanted and more. It was loaded with Win11 Pro and a 12th Gen i7 in addition to the 32GB RAM and the XE graphics. It's fast, handles intense graphics far better than expected, screencasts with all our TVs (we watched a full movie last night) and simply put is just far more mobile that a laptop. The 1TB SSD also ensures we wont run out of space anytime soon. Its thin and smooth and I'm guessing, easily dropped. To keep your tablet from shattering on the first slip, I strongly recommend a hard case with rubber edging and ideally, a backstrap to hold this delicate tablet firmly in hand. I use this in my business. Electrical Engineering consulting so it is used heavily. Running with three external 4 k monitors and many programs open at same time. It works much better than my high end Lenovo Z16 that I bought only a year age. I went back to surface pro because of the excellent service I had of my old surface pro that I have been using since 2014 and the only reason I needed to upgrade was I needed USB C support.     • Mediocre Batt life!!
Battery life is not up task when you need its length. In busy use cases you get 3 hrs at the most then you must plug in. In most electronics screen time and wireless function eat most battery life. Until they actually improve the battery I believe they should stop trying to use that as a marketing point. Because they haven’t really solve the problem. Engineering these days is really left to ametures or companies don’t want to spend money on the research for improved battery life. ... show more

This seller specifically states the Microsoft Surface tablet has cellular capability. It does not. We have many other Surfaces that do have cellular, so we know where to look to enable that capability. This Surface does not have that. So, the product comparison is misleading. This thing is a WORKHORSE! Has yet to slow down or fail at a task I've given it. I own an appliance installation, repair and parts company and this thing can handle the workload and then some. Love it and will definitely purchase more as my team grows!
