I needed to replace my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 cover but didn't see the need to buy a brand new one. Instead, I opted for a renewed one for about half the price. The cover arrived well packaged and on time. And right out of the box, it has been working just fine so far.

I bought this keyboard a couple of months ago to replace my failing one, but only started using it recently. From the moment I began using it, the trackpad has been a complete nightmare—jumping around, unresponsive at times, and overall unreliable. It’s incredibly frustrating. This is clearly a defective unit, and it raises serious concerns about quality. I would not recommend this keyboard unless you want to deal with the hassle of malfunctioning hardware right out of the box. ... show more

    • TOO BIG and features an EGREGIOUS PERVERSION of multiple concepts simultaneously.
First of all it's slighly larger than the Surface Pro 3 which it is advertised to be compatible with. The keyboard *is* compatible - and everything works, sort of. When folded shut the edges of the keyboard extend beyond the edge of the Surface Pro. This makes it awkward to use the Surface Pro in tablet mode with the keyboard attached and folded around to the rear of the screen. The other problem is that the keyboard requires a physical connection to the Surface Pro yet it connects automagically via Bluetooth. This is an egregious and simultaneous perversion of multiple concepts. If there is a physical connection then why does the keyboard connect via BT? If the keyboard connects via BT then why does it require a physical connection? If I need to remove it to use the Surface Pro 3 as a tablet and it also connects via Bluetooth then why wouldn't it work independently? This is STUPID. The keyboard is Bluetooth but it only works when physically connected. IT DOES NOT HAVE A POWER SOURCE and cannot be used when not physically connected or with another device. ... show more
