This is my third Surface and I’m really pleased. The first lasted me 5 years and I loved it. The second I took from my son after he left for college and got a new computer that suited his needs more. But because he kind of abused it it didn’t last long. So far I’m loving this one! The battery life is solid but like any laptop watch too many videos or use too much processing power and the battery life goes down. The touch screen is much improved over previous models. The one downside for my needs is no slot for a SD or mini SD card. There’s only one USB port and one USB C port so you really need a hub. ... show more

The number of ports are limited. The camera can be improved. It would also be nice to have another camera on the cover like a Surface Pro since there is a chance to host a hybrid meeting nowadays. The screen bezel is wider than their competitors, but it is perfectly fine to me because it is still narrow enough. Although it is a 13.5", the screen appears to be bigger because of ratio aspect MS chose to use. I really like this extra screen space. The ice blue color is just so beautiful beyond words. The Alcantara keyboard is so comfortable and such a joy to type on. It is pretty too. I think the Surface Laptop 4 is an excellent choice for people who prefers a Windows platform. ... show more

I was not able to install my virus protection software and not sure how to address this issue. Hitherto, no major issues. Everything works as advertised. Not the fastest but fast enough. Not the lightest but light enough for my travel backpack, etc.

This is my third laptop computer and it's incredible how far the technology has come in just the past few years. The only downside is that it does not have a disc drive but I was able to purchase a very nice one for only $50--and that includes a carrying case. A bit expensive but well worth it.

I got the computer 4ish months ago and it’s amazing and fast. The touch screen is a good add. There is a back lit keyboard which is great. The only down fall is how expensive another charging cord is.
