This is a perfect laptop. Much more better than Surface Laptop 2 because of USB-C, I can charge the laptop through it and it is a very good option when you are in a company of Mac users and suddenly your battery drains out, you can just plug the Mac charger to it and continue to work. Keyboard is perfect, I'm typing this review now and I want to write more and more, It's not loud and it has a very satisfying response. Thanks Microsoft for this great work, I wish they well give us a Thunderbolt 3 availability through USB-C in their next version of this Laptop. Screen is very bright and with well calibrated colors, touch sensor is perfect. But I see that the battery life is a little bit shorter than in Surface Laptop 2. I worked on my Surface Laptop 2 over 10-12 hours but Laptop 3 is working maximum 9-10 hours with same tasks (internet browsing, text editing and mailing). Yes and the extra space in touch pad is also a great solution, now I'm working more comfortable and never think to catch a mouse to do something. If you want a laptop with great mobility and battery time then this laptop is for you, of course it's not cheap but the when you start to work on this you know what you paid for. ... show more

I had this computer for just under two months before it broke. I loved it. It was fast, it was light, it did everything I needed it to do. Then, the motherboard died. I spent hours on the phone with Microsoft trying to figure out what was wrong and to get it fixed. They decided I needed to send it in. It took repeated emails and 5 days before they could get me a shipping label. It took 9 days to get it back to me. They sent me a different computer, they did warn me if they could not fix mine they would send a refurbished one, and it would would as good as new. Well the computer they sent me was a different color, not a big deal, but I had trouble getting on the internet the first day. Okay, maybe that is a house problem, they checked my other devices, they are fine. I finally get on, it is significantly slower than the first computer, worked for a day. Then no more internet. I finally got back on the computer with Microsoft a few days later, they did spend a few hours on the phone with me trying to fix it. Decide I have to mail it back to them. This time it only took two days and one reminder email from me for them to send the shipping label. I just got off the phone with them asking for a new computer replacement. Of course the answer is no. They don't know when they will send the refurbished one back to me, at least 2 more weeks. To say I am upset is an understatement. It is ridiculous to spend this much money on a computer to have it not working in less then 2 months. ... show more

I bought this computer to work on my masters and I LOVE it. It does everything I need it to do, while also being small enough for me to put in my purse and take it with me while I'm doing class on the go! The battery life is a lifesaver because I forgot my charger one weekend I went home and I was able to use it for multiple days without having to plug it in! ... show more

    • The Power Cord Needs Work
In order to plug-in the power cord to the laptop you need to physically lift/tilt the laptop. The power cord connector will not snap-in. This is a faulty design especially when considering the screen is a touchscreen and you are tilting your laptop, touching the screen, just to plug in the power cord. WORKED WELL FOR 3 WEEKS, THEN KEPT OVERHEATING AND BATTERY LIFE OF 2 HOURS. RETURNED IT TO BEST BUY. THEY WERE GOOD. SINCE I LIKED IT SO MUCH, I THOUGHT, I'LL TRY IT AGAIN AT AMAZON. USED IT FOR 3 WEEKS. ALL OF A SUDDEN IT JUST BLACKED OUT AND I COULDN'T RE-START IT WITH 75% ON BATTERY. WAITED AN HOUR. SO I WENT ON. PUT ALL MY PHOTOS ON IT AND SPENT DAYS MAKING A PHOTO SLIDESHOW WITH A VERY CONFUSING MICROSOFT PHOTO EDITOR. IT TOOK DAYS. WENT TO SHOW MY SLIDESHOW AND THE COMPUTER BLACKED OUT IN THE MIDDLE. SO I DID A COMPLETE BACK-UP ON AN SSD HARD DRIVE, AND CALLED UP AMAZON. THE LADY WAS GREAT. SHE TOLD ME HOW TO SEND IT BACK. I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO GO TO THE MICROSOFT STORE AND HAVE THEM FIX A NEW COMPUTER. I LOVED TO USE THIS COMPUTER, BUT CAN YOU BLAME ME FOR WANTING TO GO TO MAC, AFTER THIS. ALSO, MICROSOFT PEOPLE, SAID THIS COMPUTER COULD HANDLE PHOTO SHOWS WITH VIDEO, SOME OTHERS IN ADS SAID YOU NEED MORE RAM, 16GB.
