The media could not be loaded. I am 5 days into this laptop and am beyond happy. I wanted this laptop for years but didn’t want to pay the price. If this lasts a few years, I will be going with refurbished products in the future. I will be sure to come back and update my review if I experience any problems. Pros: -This literally looks brand new right out of the box. I would never be able to tell this was refurbished. There wasn’t a single indication of damage that I could see after inspecting this thoroughly. -This laptop works like it’s brand newl. It’s fast and zippy for every day use (watching videos, surfing the web, writing documents, light excel spreadsheet work, social media, light picture and video editing). -Battery lasts and charges to 100%. I can use this for about 6 hours without the battery running out. I can use it 2 days with light use without needing to recharge it. -I am very happy with the 13.5 inch screen. I really wanted the 15 inch screen and felt like I was settling getting the 13.5, but actually this is a perfect size for daily use and to take on the go. -I appreciate the aesthetic. Its thin, lighter weight, has a great screen resolution/color, and the matte black looks sleek. Cons: -The only consideration I would share is that due to the matte black, any spec of dust or fingerprint is easily visible. You can see my fingerprints in the pictures very easily. This laptop is Microsoft refurbished and looks brand new from every perspective. Everything about this laptop is new, minus the "Refurbished" label on the box. Yes there is a smell from the felt when new, it dissipated in like 2 days. Wonderful and high quality device that works really well. Windows 11 update happened two days after I set it up. I may have gotten lucky but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and inspected this Surface Laptop. Not a spec of dust or scratch on it. It looked brand new. It was packaged in the box as if coming from the manufacturer. Specs up to par and it booted right up. For half the price of an unopened box I think it’s a great deal. Hopefully it lasts but it has the 1 year manufacturer warranty regardless so nothing to lose. I would buy it again if I had to. ... show more

I was always hesitant to buy refurb products before, but I saw these Surface Laptop 3s at such a good price and with a 1 year warranty, I took the dive. What a headache. 50% failure rate out of 4. They are in amazing condition, as if they are new, if they only worked. This one got through the initial windows update, then started having bitlocker issues, then it would just keep cycling at the login screen and I was never able to get back in. It also wouldn't let me try and boot from USB to repair or restore. I'm not sure who's doing the QA work on these, but someone better try some further tests before they are released. ... show more

When I bought the laptop it was in perfect condition, no complaints. Couldn't even tell it was refurbished. However, a week or two in, I notice that the screen starts glitching randomly even during start-up. The glitching is so bad that I'll be in the middle of using the laptop and the screen will go black out of nowhere. Hard resets and basic troubleshooting tips do not work. Google tells me either the issue is with the display driver, the software, or the hardware. I figured a professional may have better luck but I am told the way Microsoft packages their products makes it impossible for them to take anything apart and put it back together. So, I'm stuck. Resigned, I call customer service in search of a replacement but they can only offer me a refund so I take it. This is minor and wasn't as big of an issue but one of the letter's on the keyboard would often get stuck as I was typing. It was a pain in the butt considering that the letter was "T." All in all, I loved the laptop but the glitches became enough of an issue to where they affected my day-to-day and ruined my experience. I doubt I'll buy another refurbished product again. It seems like there isn't any testing done to ensure the reliability of this product. Keep that mind when deciding on this purchase. ... show more

I got this laptop to replace my MacBook air and so far, it's great. It's a good size (12x9in- similar to the Mac which is 13x9in), lightweight, gorgeous color, and the screen is so crisp and clear. I've only had it for a day so hopefully it works out and doesn't need repairs since it's refurbished. It looked brand spanking new when I opened the box and has no scratches or anything anywhere, I looked very carefully. I noticed the laptop got pretty warm for a little bit but I knew that from other reviews so I'll probably just buy a laptop stand to put under. The speakers are nice and loud, the track pad is smooth and easy to use, and it sets you up with the ability to connect to your android phone. I set up my Samsung A32 and works like a charm. I'm very happy with it so far so hopefully I don't get any surprises on it not working. But I will update if that happens. Update: Unfortunately, my laptop kept giving me the blue screen of death pretty multiple times every time I used it so I had to return it. It worked great for the first 2 weeks and then only problems. I wasnt even able to wipe my information off of it because it kept crashing.
