I wasn't sure what to expect with this Kids Microscope because it wasn't shaped as I imaged a microscope. Well, I sure was amazed! The design makes it easier for kids to handily explore things and see them at a detailed level. Once I charge the Kids Microscope, I started focusing on leaves of plants, grain in wood, soil, and all kinds of substances. The kids were shocked when we used the microscope on a penny. They saw the image of President Lincoln sitting inside the Lincoln Memorial, a detail that was there and they never knew it! That got their minds focused on whatelse to look at.There is light adjustment if more or less light is needed. The Kids Microscope has a zoom feature as well. I can take pictures of what I find and keep an album. I have the option to take video. The built in storage holds 500 photos. A set of a dozen slides of plants and animals comes with the microscope. A MicroSD can can be used to save the videos. There is an option to connect to a computer to access the MicroSD card and to view images on the computer's larger screen. The Kids Microscope comes with a 2 year warranty, 24/7 customer support, and a digital manual. I hate having to keep track of the paper manuals for everything. Considering all these features and options for the price of the Kids Microscope, I recommend it for families. It can open up a whole new world for your kids.

I’m impressed by this microscope! As someone who has taken many chemistry classes, I would consider myself a critic for microscopes, and I was surprised at the magnification and clarity of this little thing. It focuses well against dark or light backdrops since you don’t have the backlight, and is very easy to focus. It was hard to take a photo with my phone, but my boys loved zooming in on the details of a fly’s eyeball. It also comes with many pre-mounted slides that were fun to look at! So far the battery still shows a full charge and we have definitely been using it! I tested it to look at some biological organisms and it was strong enough and clear enough for adequate visualization. This is a great little toy/tool for kids or adults!

When I got this microscope, I had a blast playing with it. I was looking at my skin, my hair, my nails, all 12 slides. My kids love it, but didn’t have as much fun with it as I did. The real reason I bought it was because I am a teacher and will be teaching science next year. I chose this microscope because it can hook up to my computer and I can show my screen to the class. The price was very good and the optics are perfect for showing a slide to the class without a class set of microscopes. I am very happy with my purchase. Very easy to use, and has a great image.

So...let's be real... This isn't going to be just super great. I mean...it's a microscope made of plastic for under $30. But it's made for littles, and they don't need a fancy microscope. I plan to give this to my 3 grandkids for Christmas as a shareable present. They're 2, 4, and 6. I'm excited to see them be excited about it. The microscope is perfect for their little hands and seems like it will be hardy enough to handle 3 littles. It came with several slides. Once I figured out how to focus the microscope, you can definitely see...something. Something more than when you look at it with your naked eye. I think they'll have fun with it!

Every child should have one of these. What a way to open them up to the world of science and exploration. A great way to get them outside and explore nature. I love all the colors that are offered. It came fully charged. There are plenty of slides. In observation mode, it even allows you to take pictures or videos of the sample you are examining. It holds about 500 photos. This Kid's Microscope would be a great addition to any Pre-K or Kindergarten class so teachers put it on your wish list!
