We have added this unit to a four unit base station at our church. Works great! Simple setup: plug it in; turn it on; start speaking! Just like that! We plugged it into the amplifier but it could have been plugged into the four unit base station just as well. Keep the batteries fully charged! We use rechargeable batteries and they burn out pretty fast. Our church is not that big but reception is great as long as you are not more than 100 feet from the antenna. The microphones are pretty sturdy and have survived drops onto both carpet and oak benches. But I would not drop them often. They are made of plastic and will break. They are not very heavy and can pick up breathing if put too close to your mouth. Volume control is good and can be boosted by an amplifier. ... show more

Very cheap construction. Channel one stopped working after one use. The receiver would power off easily just by moving it a little bit. Had an unnecessarily difficult time even just removing the batteries. Spend a little more for a lot higher quality. These microphones are unreliable and nigh unusable. ... show more
