I bought a Gigabyte motherboard and it wouldn’t recognize my graphics card as it’s a bit older and connects to my dual monitors. These work great so I didn’t want to replace them as I’m not a gamer. I upgraded hardware as Windows 10 is rapidly approaching end of life. Thanks Microsoft for originally telling us it would be the last version of Windows. My previous i7 CPU and motherboard would not support Windows hence the upgrade. The only way to view the startup screen was to remove the graphics card and attach a HDMI monitor to the onboard HDMI port. That’s not what I would want to do in a bare metal image restore. Now this Asus motherboard performed flawlessly, recognizing all my hardware even my graphics card. It notified me that a driver in the UFEI did not support my card and switched to a compatible driver. I was able to boot up my recovery software and recover the images to a new M2 SSD. I am now up and running and quite impressed with Asus and their attention to detail. It has been a few days since my original review. I am more impressed with this combo as days go by. Quick response and rapid application displays. Very impressive motherboard. I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

Just got this in today. Website distinctly says it supports both DDR4 and DDR5 memory. It does NOT support DDR4. I have 64GB DDR4 Crucial that does not fit, so please take note. I will provide an updated review once I have ordered new memory, but just be on notice if you are trying to keep your old DDR4, it won't fit.
