Do your research on this product. Electrical physics creates insurmountable 4-DIMM barriers The physics are unforgiving: eye diagram measurements show signal quality degrading from approximately 400 millivolts of margin with 2 DIMMs down to less than 200mV with 4 DIMMs at 6000+ MT/s speeds. This leaves essentially no margin for error in a system already operating at the edge of electrical feasibility. The memory controller simply cannot maintain adequate drive strength to push clean signals through the increased capacitive loading of four modules while maintaining the tight timing requirements DDR5 demands. AMD's memory controller hits fundamental architectural limits a crushing 31% bandwidth penalty compared to the DDR5-5600 supported with two DIMMs Memory training algorithms become exponentially more complex with four modules, B-channel slots exhibit specific hardware failures These slots are also more susceptible to CPU mounting pressure effects, EXPO profiles fail due to aggressive timing assumptions With four DIMMs installed, EXPO profiles either refuse to apply entirely or cause immediate system instability Power delivery and thermal challenges compound the problems The 2x48GB solution outperforms 4-DIMM configurations A 2x48GB configuration maintains full DDR5-6000+ speeds with EXPO profiles while providing 96GB of capacity, BIOS updates provide marginal improvements within physical limits The X870E platform's inability to reliably operate four DDR5 DIMMs at rated speeds represents a collision between ambitious performance targets and immutable laws of physics. The combination of reduced voltage margins, extreme frequencies, signal integrity challenges, and memory controller limitations creates an environment where 4-DIMM configurations can only operate at severely reduced speeds. asus +2 Users requiring high memory capacity should choose 2x48GB configurations over any 4-DIMM setup, TweakTownOverclockers UK accepting that current DDR5 technology and memory controller architectures simply cannot deliver the electrical performance necessary for stable 4-DIMM operation at modern speeds. Wired2Fire +4 These limitations affect all current platforms equally, suggesting that fundamental architectural changes - perhaps in DDR6 or future memory. CPU is great! ... show more

ASUS Motherboard wouldn't boot up. Contacted ASUS tech support and after they had me try many things including updating the BIOS from Ver 12.01 to 17.04 still failed to bootup. They suggested trying different DDR5 Memory chips. Still didn't work. Sending it back to Amazon.
