After having the Pilot 5 (which is also a very high-speed tire), I went back to this Pilot 4 particularly for the purpose of having an all-weather tread design! (Pilot 5 is a longer lasting tire but with less actual road contact). It is a soft riding tire while maintaining the thick sidewalls for riding safety and handling at high speeds.
