Description

Pilot® Power 2CT tires add two-compound technology to the already renowned Pilot® Power range. While 2CT technology originated in MotoGP racing, Pilot® Power 2CT tires are intended for the most demanding sportbike riders, who use their bikes both on the road and for track days. Its tread surface is divided into three separate areas, incorporating two different rubber compounds. This helps provide numerous benefits in terms of dry grip, lean angle, handling and progressive acceleration and braking on wet surfaces.

  • Hard to beat for the street. Real tire for real riders.
Best tires for fair weather riding. Phenomenal tires. Anybody with a bad opinion of these tires simply CAN NOT be trusted. Dual compound, hard rubber center increases travel mileage, soft shoulders have you scraping peg in the twisties. Unbelievably good and confidence inspiring. I got 7k before the cords started showing on the rear, stetched to 8k with care. Front could probably make it 10k but I replace anyway. Oh, and that's wear from big bore KAWASAKI torque, not childish, mouth breather burnouts. I run these on the last of the real Japanese Superbikes, the mighty KAWASAKI ZRX1200R. Also the killer Z1000. I simply LOVE these tires, I run them on every motorcycle I own. Are they good in the rain? I dunno. I keep a clean machine and dont ride wet. If you're a commuter who does, try the Road 6. If you're a fair weather rider like myself, who travels some miles to get to the twisties (like most Florida riders) buy these. Chicken strips are the sign of POSERS. These tires get down. You wont be disappointed. ... show more

  • great tire not a full lean track tire though
i bought this set front/back for my gsxr750, they were really sticky for the road and can be used on the track. but they are not full lean tires and start slipping a little on the track when you get too low or the tires get too warm. but my road rides are amazing and they work on the track too. not to mention the price was great. ... show more

  • Extremely great handling. I regularly ride through twisty roads at ...
I just ordered my second one of these for the rear on my 2005 bandit 1200s. Extremely great handling. I regularly ride through twisty roads at high speeds and feel comfortable going around pretty decent curves at over 100 mph. The center wore down pretty quick, but I love opening it up in a straight line sometimes. It's always fun to see how fast I can get going before barreling into another nice long curve in the road that can only be appreciated at high speeds. Overall, great tires for the money. Soft compound makes cornering great but don't think you're going to be able to slap these on and start diving into the curves like you're in the isle of man. Know your limits before you take these suckers into the corners hard. I've crashed more than once because of putting too much trust in my tires and not enough focus on weight distribution. ... show more

  • Great quality tire for combination riding/commuting
Great tire, super transitions out of corners and sticky enough to get you out of trouble when you go in a little hot!

  • Great tire for the price!
I was looking around for tires for my 02 CBR F4i. These fit and ride great, I just got them installed today so i'm taking it pretty easy but you can tell a world of difference from the stock tires to these. I ordered these late Tuesday night and recieved them Thursday morning fast shipping and tires were in excellent condition. They don't ship in a box just the tire itself comes but my tires didn't have any defects and were in great working condition when they arrived. If you're looking for a great tire and a great price order these! These were almost $30 more then any other retailer online and the shop I got them installed at were even more! ... show more

  • stick to the road
Cant compare to anything, I've only used these tires on gsxr 600. But I can tell you they are great in the rain. Also you can lean these down with confidence. When I was a new rider I was going way to fast into a corner at night, I was 100% sure I was not going to make it. I was pushing 95mph. The only choice I had was push hard on the countersteer. I still wasn't going to make it so I said screw it and pushed down harder. It was the smoothest exit and I was shaken up bad. But that experience is the reason why I will never consider any other tire. These are life savers if you have balls. ps slow down if you new..... ... show more

  • Sticky Tire Good Price
I have this tire for both front and back of my R6 and just ordered my second rear tire. I got about 3500 miles out of the first rear but this is a daily driver bike and I sometimes ride it pretty hard. What I really like about it is the amount of traction is provides, wet or dry it grips very well and all for a very good price. Only gripe about it is how quickly it wears but some people are able to get more mileage from them, I guess its all about how you drive. ... show more
