  • Good traction, good mileage
We ride a Harley Heritage and Harley Ultra. The Commander tire has taken on dry roads, wet roads, in light rain, and in heavy downpours. Traction wise, this tire is fantastic. As for wear, motorcycle tires are notorious for not lasting. The Commander is on the high side of the mileage spectrum. Obviously, the more aggressive you ride, the faster you go through tires, but for cruisers like us, these tires hold up well. ... show more

  • The Dumblaps cup so bad I thought I had a wheelbearing going out
I tried these on my 09 electra glide classic and I think I got 11 or 12,000 miles out of them. that's by far more than the original Dumblaps. The Dumblaps cup so bad I thought I had a wheelbearing going out. I put these on the 10 ultra classic I bought in sept of 14 with 1,600 miles on it and by 3,000 miles they're cupped as well. When I described the noise to the dealer he said "oh your rear tire is cupped ". Pretty cool since he didn't even have to go out and look at the bike. No break on price, or even an I'm sorry, Don't get me started on Surley Davidson's customer service. They should pay attention to the fix GM's in over not taking care of ignition switches when there is clearly a problem. Anyway I would recommend the michelin commander 11's the ride is awesome, they really stick to the road. ... show more

  • Will last a few seasons.
Front tire is holding up well. Has been on my Kawasaki Mean Streak for 2 seasons and I should be able to get another season out of it still. Four star because it is a harder compound in my opinion and you feel every bump. If you want a front tire that will give you some miles before having to change it due to wear, this Michelin will fare well. ... show more

  • One of the best touring tires on the market
This is my third purchase of this same tire, as I have had nothing but positive things to say about it. I got 11000 miles on my previous ones and only had to replace them when the wear bars indicated to do so. I will buy thes same tires again.

  • Love these tires
I've already been using these tires and love them. I still have life left on my front tire but I changed my rear tire recently and figured I'd keep them both new. I never experienced tire noise or chopping of the tire and I ride expressive. I used to run Dunlop and the tire noise was horrible. These Michelin tires out perform the Dunlops all around in my opinion. Shipping was supposed to take about a week and the tire was delivered within 2 days. I'm very happy with that and was a nice surprise to come home too. ... show more
