  • Fits Yamaha Bolt 2014 R-Spec. Very Satisfied!
This front tire fits my 2014 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec. I've not had them long so I will have to update on the mileage. I am very satisfied with the handling and grip. I ride a lot of twisty country roads. I like the design of the treads as well. * * * I bought, balanced and installed the FRONT and REAR Michelin Commander II tires and I do NOT have the "death wobble" anymore! The wobbling appears to be a very common problem with Yamaha Bolt riders - I am not sure if the problem was caused by the previous front or rear tire specifically, but I know that I do not have this issue anymore with the new set. My previous tires were Bridgestone Battlecruise. I hope this review helps someone, especially if they're having trouble with death wobble on a Bolt. ... show more

  • Awesome handling
2001 Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider I HATE-HATE-HATED how the stock Dunlops handled. I don't do too many long rides, but I commute by bike whenever I can and end up riding around 6000 miles a season. The Dunlops felt like every little crease and groove in the road was grabbing my handlebars away from me. I swapped bikes with my husband several times to see if he thought there was something wrong with mine (I thought there MUST be!). The difference with these tires is like NIGHT and DAY, and my bike is darn near perfect now! I ride over heavily grooved concrete with these and hardly even notice. Quick, easy, responsive swerving and turning, smooth smooth ride. I don't care if the softer rubber means I have to replace them twice as often. It's WORTH IT! Oh, and they arrived super-quick, too. Update 4/2016 - still riding on these & loving them, so they last a good long time. I've probably put at least 15,000 miles on them. ... show more

  • good overall tire
Nice tire, even better price. Tire tracks well. Has great life. Have around 7000 miles on the rear commander and still looks almost new. The only con is that the tire seems like a stiffer compound compared to the d401 that I used to have. On tight cornering I can feel more slip than I used to have on the d401. Overall great product. Nice job Michelin. Keep it up. ... show more

  • Great Product
Switched from the Dunlop 401 HD to the Michelin Commander 2, front & rear, on my Dyna and I'm not disappointed. It has made a huge difference in the ride & handling. After riding 400+ miles over the past weekend, no saddle fatigue what so ever. Also it was sticking in those curvy mountain roads very well. I highly recommend these tires to anyone in the market. ... show more

  • Well made
Very well constructed. Feels premium and works perfectly. Would give 5 stars if it came with a carrying case. From my perspective.

  • Michelin best tires that, I have ever had..

  • Better than my OEM Dunlops
Definitely an upgrade from the original Dunlops that came with my Harley and for about the same price. These tires are more 'sticky' than my old Dunlop tires so I feel more confident in the turns. They are also a bit more round which makes easing in and out of turns easier to do. I have an antique Harley and was worried about keeping the bike 'original' but honestly these look about the same as the OEM Dunlops I was riding on before and I really think these are a safer tire. Harley now uses Michelin on their new bikes and for good reason. These are just a better product and people will know you've done your research and made an informed choice when you upgrade to these tires. ... show more
