Features

  • Cruiser tire performance. The Michelin Commander II Front Motorcycle Tire 130/80B-17 (65H) is engineered for cruisers, offering exceptional longevity without sacrificing stability or handling.
  • Proven durability. Independent third-party tests show the Michelin Commander II rear tire lasts nearly twice as long as leading competitors, making it the benchmark for cruiser tire longevity.
  • Stable and responsive handling. Thanks to Michelin Amplified Density Technology, the Michelin Commander II Front Motorcycle Tire 130/80B-17 (65H) features a high-density, stiffer frame for premium responsiveness. Rear tire layers reinforced with aramid fibers add strength, reduce weight, and ensure stability at higher speeds.
  • Excellent wet traction. A newly designed longitudinal tread pattern on the Michelin Commander II Front Motorcycle Tire 130/80B-17 (65H) delivers outstanding water evacuation for reliable grip on wet surfaces.

Description

When the MICHELIN Commander II tire was released it set the standard in terms of tire life, almost doubling the life that consumers would see from its competitors. In addition to long tire life, Michelin has incorporated MICHELIN Amplified Density Technology (ADT) which increases responsiveness. Commissioned third party tests conducted in 2011 on public roads comparing MICHELIN Commander II tires, Metzeler ME880, and Dunlop D407/D408 tires in sizes 130/80B17 and 180/65B16. Individual results may vary depending on motorcycle type and operating conditions.

  • Bead Seal Air Leak
The media could not be loaded. I usually wait to write a review so that I can test the product. I’m glad I waited on this one. I bought this tire a year ago and had it installed by my local certified Harley shop. One year later and about 2,000 miles on the tire, the bead seal, where the tire meets the wheel, started leaking air. it takes a week to go completely flat. The tire still has a lot of thread. I will have to pay to install a tube. I do not recommend this tire unless you install a tube with this tire. ... show more
