I have gotten my face derma planned with an ethician before and my skin felt amazing after. But it was SUPER expensive. I tried the drug store disposable blades for a while, but I felt like it was really only shaving the baby hairs and not exfoliating my skin. Not to mention dangerous because I also cut myself a few times with cheap drug store ones.... The Michael Todd Beauty Sonicsmooth provided professional quality for much cheaper and I am obsessed. Unlike the cheap drug store disposable ones, I felt like the sonicsmooth not only removed peach fuzz but also physically exfoliated my skin. Has not cut my skin and does not feel like it will. I really like that its electronic and doing the work for me. The product itself is really well made and has a long battery life. Product itself was also super easy to learn how to use from the instructions. I did not have much hair on my face to start, so the before and after isn't life changing, but I can say for sure that I felt like the dead skin cells were removed. My skin very smooth after, but bare so I made sure to use gentle products after and SPF. Biggest thing I noticed was that I felt like my moisturizers and serums were better able to penetrate my skin to achieve that glass skin look. Overall, extremely satisfied with the exfoliation benefits and I will 1000% continue using on a regular basis!!!

I really like this dermaplaning device. I use it to remove the peach fuzz around my mouth as well as on and under my chin. It's easy to use, clean, operate, and apply and remove the blades. It comes with 8 blades which makes it worth the price. It also comes with a stand for easy storage and display. The grip is comfortable. Only thing it's missing is oil pads for skin prep and wipes for clean up. Other than that, it's a wonderful system. Tip: using oil prior will help to reduce bumps and redness.

Sonicsmooth is such a fantastic device. I have been dermaplaning for a long time with a manual device but decided to try an electronic device. I love that there are three speed settings and allows me to control how fast the movements are. The device itself is so comfortable to hold and the blades are so easy to install. This tool is easy to use and painless. Afterwards, my skin feels so soft and smooth. My skincare absorbs so easily and my makeup looks so much smoother. . After submitting my negative experience, the company reached out and offered me an exchange on the device in hopes that it would create a satisfied customer. Their customer service was satisfactory. The new one stays charged, the light helps to guide one through the process, there are several attachments available, and two different speeds to meet one’s needs. There is an additional attachment for smoothing the skin, of which I have yet to see any results from. I will have to update later once I have used both attachments for a longer period of time. I would say outside of a professional treatment, this is a good option for in between treatments and for those that simply prefer to do their own skin care at home.
