This is the first product I have ever given such a low review. I had read the reviews and watched the video …I thought this might be a much better product to use. I have light color facial hairs ( not sure if that made a difference or not) just very disappointed in this product. I did like the shape of the product. It was easy to use, but didn’t do the job in making one’s skin smooth. I didn’t send back for the reason I thought I may have been doing something wrong… but that wasn’t the case… and then it was too late to send back‼️ ... show more

I acquired this product in October 2024. Following the initial setup and adherence to the manufacturer's operational instructions, I utilized the product several times without encountering any issues; it performed exceptionally well. However, over time, I observed that the device necessitated frequent recharging after minimal use, and the output at the highest setting diminished compared to its initial performance. I emailed the company and received a prompt response. Leah from Michael Todd Beauty contacted me to discuss my concern. She offered me an upgraded version of the product, the Sonicsmooth Pro +, at no additional cost and arranged for it to be shipped to my residence. *Update* Contacted the seller directly and they said they will send a new product. Customer service was quick to respond. I have used this product once and now it no longer works and will not charge. It is past the return date so I’ll be contacting the seller.

    • just ok and then does not hold a charge
I have had the professional dermaplaning done and so know about it and for certain things I do enjoy the DIY versions. Usually the home versions are not as harsh and you need to do more often but I still like the freedom of DIY and being able to save money and also not leave the house to go to an appointment. This appeared to be what I was looking for. I bought this vs the stacked version b/c I liked the idea that it was in motion. I somehow thought this would make it easier and overall better results. I am BLONDE w/very little peach fuzz to begin with so when I go over an area a couple of times following exact directions, and its still leaving some hair behind, that is def not me, that's the product! I had it on highest setting too by the end of trying different parts of my face and it still was not was effective. It has a little cage type thing over the blade and am assuming this is b/c it does vibrate so perhaps that is why I feel the other product works better = you have to move the other one yourself but the blade is in direct contact w/the skin and you def don't need to go over areas that many times as w/this one. was still going to keep trying but then had same experience 3 times....I did a full charge which took a few hours. and then after less than 5 min, it died and needed to be charged again. I thought this perhaps was a fluke but it kept happening. it says 3 hrs of use??? um...def not! unless they mean the 3 hours count even when not being used. in other words, each time you use once a week, you need to do a full c harge again for a few hours? that can't be right. either way I had to return it. I may have gotten a defective product but am not dealing w/that again. sending back and ordered the stacked item. it does not vibrate but each blade lasts 4 uses vs just 1 and it makes contact w/the skin and works well and does not need any charging to extra equipment. ... show more
