This is the extender you are looking for. The price is something that is very refreshing to see in a microphone market known for its price gouging. If you have a boom arm and a mic that might not make the clearance to make adjustments it's perfect. Made of a good quality metal and you can tell this is going to last a long time. While it is annoying to screw in the female adapter once its in you are set.

I run a blue yeti boom arm with a shure sm7b and I’m sure most if not all who run the same setup as me have the issue that the XLR cable running into the mic is too fat to be able to rotate the mic freely. With the extendo, it’s gotten rid of that issue. I’d recommend to anyone who needs the extra length or is having the same issue i once was.

I’m 6’4” and sing with a mic stand. Even with this stand at full extension, I’ve had to tilt the mic straight up. This stand extension is perfect for me to now have the mic in a more normal position.
