It takes about a min to set up from the bag! It works great and is the perfect stand to bring with you to practice or traveling! Very light but still sturdy! Worth every penny!

This is good quality and compact which is what I needed. Only issue is they provide mic holders which are not going to work that well in a professional situation. The threaded post they have is non-standard but I got around it by taking a standard mic boom and using that instead of theirs so then I had a threaded post that accepts all pro mic holders. It's highly adjustable, it's sturdy enough for home use, and the clip fits an Audyssey microphone perfectly, and will hold it straight up towards ceiling, as is required. So basically exactly what I was looking for to take measurements for my Denon AVR's room correction system. It also has a camera attachment (not a phone camera, a proper camera). The stand is good for small mics and is decently adjustable. I purchased to do room calibration on my audio receiver . The problem is the mic holders provided do not allow the Audyssey mic to be held securely. This is not a stand if you’re standing on stage singing with a large microphone.
