I literally cut a hole in my house for this door and it didn’t even last a full month. The flaps are already tearing away and looks terrible. The magnets have fallen off. My largest dog is 100 and this door says it goes 200+. I would not recommend this.

We had plans to install this in the great room and we measured twice then cut. It was overall fairly simple to install if you have some basic carpentry knowledge. We have 2 large breed dogs (Labrador retrievers) and they fit comfortably through the door. The only down side, an indoor only cat who has now discovered the great outdoors. She watched the dogs come and go through the dog door and figured it out quickly. She is currently recovering from being spayed. We also put a tracking nugget on her collar. Dogs like the freedom to go out when they need to instead of ringing door bells. Basic knowledge and a few power tools and this is a quick afternoon install.

We are so happy with this large dog door! We have multiple dogs of different sizes, and they all use it with ease. The flap is spacious enough for everyone, and the door operates smoothly without any issues. The build quality is excellent—very sturdy with strong materials, and the sliding panel gives us peace of mind when we want to close it off. The brush seal does a great job blocking out drafts and keeping bugs where they belong—outside! Installation was straightforward, even for someone who doesn't usually do DIY projects.
