I have successfully used this now so I’m going to say I have pros and cons on this: Pros: It is a great home incubator if your looking to hatch a few babies. The heat is on the top so it’s easy to read and adjust. The automatic egg turning is perfectly on time every two hours. Cons: It does NOT read humidity level so you would need to purchase your own reader. (I did) When it’s lockdown time for the babies to hatch and you have to take the turner out, it is a little sketchy because there is no lip on the outside so it is very likely for the eggs to roll out if you aren’t careful. The temperature level is read in Celsius, which is not such a bad thing but still a blah thing. I had to put just a small amount of food coloring in the water that goes in it so I could see where the level was at. (Perfectly safe, not harmful) I had to take out some chickens as they fluffed out because there was not much room and they injured a baby so I would recommend not doing 12 like I did😕 Other than that this was a good incubator for me. I hatched out 10/12 chickens so the outcome was pretty good. ... show more

The incubator was easy to set up and came with clear instructions for use and clean up. The temp was set at 100F and the display is easy to see and read and also if you need to adjust the temperature the instructions clearly outlined how to. Also the last three days the incubator automatically stopped the rotation like the recommendation were stated. I had 12 chicken eggs incubating and had 10 hatch. I'd say that was very successful! My son and I couldn't keep away while the babies hatched. It was a great experience and a breeze to clean up. The water bottle that is for the feedig of the water inside was usually filled every 2 days and that was probably due to it being cooler weather outside and about 63 inside. I will definitely be using this awesome incubator again come February for my next round of hatching. ... show more

Received the hatcher, worked one day then the motor stopped working for turning the eggs. Received another hatcher its working fine but when I ran the parts under hot water the bottom shrunk plastic part of the hatcher, also the plastic parts that that hold the eggs inside the hatcher twisted so the plastic parts are crooked. Have to hold the hatcher together with duck tape now.Hopefully there will be something about cleaning the hatcher with hot water in the instructions so other people don't have the same issues. ... show more

Put seven chicken eggs in I got six chicks one died within 48 hours, but he was dried in the shell is very hard to keep the humidity at a steady level. I ended up dumping the Water in the bottom of the sink manually still have the six chicks and their 12 weeks old now other than the humidity problem it worked good temperature stayed extremely steady ... show more

It's just what I wanted I wanted something simple that I can put my eggs in not mess with them and they would hatch and I got it the machine put my eggs in them put the water in a little container and I think it was like 28 days I had little chicks when I woke up in the morning my first time ever doing it I only put six eggs in there and out of them six four of them hatched ... show more

I have seen it rotate the eggs on its own but it would be nice if you could set how ofter it turns them. Otherwise so far so good.
