Someone obviously put a lot of thought and care into designing the packaging of these cabinets, and that turned out to be a good omen. All of the pieces (except one, more later) were in perfect condition, and that made assembly much less of a chore. I bought 2 of these units and assembled them both with just a screwdriver in about 3 hours. The directions were clear and simple, and the parts were labeled to match. Everything fit together easily and the final cabinets were better than expected; nothing wobbles, everything's square with even gaps. The doors close with a nice solid feel and fit perfectly. Each door has a magnet and rubber bumper at the top and bottom (see photo). The only problem I ran into involved a spring-loaded upper hinge pin on one of the 4 doors. The hinge pin assemblies are attached to the doors with glue, and one of them had come unglued in shipping. I reglued it and it works fine for now, but I'll probably add a rivet or 2 to each one eventually before they fail, a small nut and bolt would work too. I included a photo showing one of the intact hinges I didn't make a gluey mess of. I almost gave 4 stars for the questionable hinge design, but the fit and finish were too good and the packing was so immaculate, I had to go with 5. I would buy again if I need another cabinet, totally worth the price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. 40mins to unpack gently/wipe down and 1hr to assemble (one person "team"). I'm glad FedEx delievered it to the door up 3 flights of stairs because this thing is heavy af. The packaging is impressive and carefully thought out. However the pieces, specifically on the edges, were dented. The back middle panels were severely dented in the middle but still could be assembled properly. Glad that side is hidden since it would be pretty hideous to look at // The front right corner is visibly dented though which is really unfortunate. I emailed the company for a partial refund for the dents (there's no way I can return this heavy thing). But I got no response. Assembled though, looks and functions great (minus previously mentioned dents). No issues with the shelving pieces. If you order enough IKEA cabinets, you'll have experience with the type of pieces and how to put everything together. Only other downside is how noisy the lock mechanism is when you open the door (metal rod clangs against the metal door) Edit: the seller was able to provide a small refund for the defects a week later.
