Does exactly as advertised. These are small so if you were thinking about leaving your brushes inside to soak (don't recommend that anyway) then these wouldn't work. I like to have a few different ones with brush cleaner when doing nail art so I will probably buy another set at some point soon

MULTI-PURPOSE

This is the third set of these that I have purchased. They are small, they are expensive, but they are perfect for Sharpie ink work! Just color the bottom of one of these, add 4 drops of rubbing alcohol. There you are! Sharpie Ink, ( or any other brand). There is another purpose for these that my husband uncovered. Many of us, nail artists love caviar beads. The silver and gold that you find Amazon are very useful…but…sometimes …you want colored ones!!! Especially in nail art! I tried to buy some online…but… the shades were the wrong color, and the size was tiny… micro. My husband said let's make them! We can dye them! So we did! Just soak any size silver caviar beads overnight in these little dishes, with Sharpie ink. When the alcohol evaporates, you have your custom colored shade of caviar beads! I find that the brighter shades, and darker, work the best. I don't do acrylics, I love these for watercolors… and other things. I would've given five stars…if not for the cost of these! ... show more
