It does look nice, very bare bones. All the pieces were here, but I did find on the two side pieces where they bridge out had metal pieces that broke off. Everything is still functional. I'm 330 lbs and I can feel a bit of wiggle despite it all being tightened properly but it held me up all night and I'm a toss and turn sleeper. The height is pretty good, I'm 6 ft. My mattress is about 8 inches so the 12 inch rise with the mattress has my feet dangling off the bed from the knees. The under space is ok...the middle support leaves a gap that might hinder some use of space. But it's still an adequate place of storage. 9 outta 10 ... show more

This bed was super easy to put together! It’s cute and sturdy but breaks down really small if needed for moving, etc. My only issue is that the headboard really needs to be a bit taller to be able to see it beyond the pillows.
