Super simple to put together. You need two people, one to do the work and one to hold a piece while you assemble it. We did away with our box springs to see how it sleeps without them. Not to bad. We slept great! Love the extra storage available under it. We purchased the 18" one. I'm a pretty good size guy, and it seems durable enough for me. It has plenty of slots to attach your headboard. I only removed 1 star because it's much easier to install with 2 people. 1 person is frustratingly slow. Solid foundation after everything is assembled. No squeaking or movement after using a full-sized mattress for a few nights. Might want to get some rubber or felt feet if you don't want any scraping of your flooring though. It is a light frame so take that into consideration when entering or exiting the mattress. Great for a guest bedroom, but not for your everyday permanent frame. ... show more

I purchased this bed frame primarily for the under-bed storage, and it delivered exactly what I was looking for. There is plenty of room underneath for totes, storage bins, and other household items, which has helped maximize space in my room. Assembly was straightforward, and I appreciated that it came with the necessary tools and the correct number of screws to complete the job. Everything fit together well, and the instructions were easy to follow. One thing that really impressed me was the durability. My teenage son is over 6 feet tall, and despite my repeated requests not to test the limits of the bed, he decided to jump, flop, and bounce around on it. Thankfully, the frame handled it without any noticeable bending, cracking, or structural issues. The frame has continued to feel solid and stable. Even with a 10-inch box spring, a thick mattress, and additional pillow tops, there is still plenty of clearance underneath for storage. My sons and even our dog have managed to crawl underneath, and there is still room to spare. I am already considering building simple rolling storage trays to make it even easier to slide items in and out from underneath. It took less than an hour to set up and put together with no help. The instructions were simple and easy to follow/understand. It is sturdy, durable, and I took the advice from the reviews and did away with the box spring. So glad I did and I’m satisfied with the results.
