It took me and my boyfriend about 2 1/2 hours to build! Instructions were clear and not frustrating, and the end result was awesome! I was happy with it. It feels sturdy and I feel safe using it.

Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. My husband and I put this twin loft bunk together in two hours. The headboard and footboard took one hour which includes a mistake on each piece whereas We had to remove and turn around one pole. We didn’t pay attention to which direction the tiny hole for the Support pole was facing. This was totally operator error no fault in the instructions whatsoever. Connecting the footboard and the headboard with all the other frame pieces also took about one hour. All bolts and needed materials were included, we had no missing parts. In fact, extra parts were supplied in case needed, which was very nice. all screws fit, and aligned with minimal to no effort. We had no difficulty whatsoever following the included instructions. We’ve put many projects together over the years, I would consider this one to be one of our easiest- just pay attention to the directions. The ladder steps are flat with rubber for a more comfortable, no slip step. Also, bonus, the ladder can be installed on either the left or right side. I did not see this noted in the description before I purchased it, but was thrilled to see it in the instructions when we opened the box. Both my husband and I feel the frame is sturdy and durable. I will be purchasing a second one for the other side of our room to accommodate more of our guests, especially our grandchildren. I highly recommend this product!

In the end this turned out really nice for my stepgrandson. Its a super tall bed frame tho. Putting this together took my son 2 days. Litterally every part needed to be built/assembled. My son was a bit overwhelmed with how many pieces and parts there were. So i wish a little more of it came already preassmbled. But it did turn out really nice.

The bed is more sturdy than the IKEA metal loft bed. Assembly was easy but make sure you have set aside plenty of time for possible mishaps (like screwing in a pole and realizing that it’s facing the wrong way). If you can appoint one of your kids to help then the assembly time is cut in half. Took us about 2 hours with two people. We did however have a defective part right out of the box which was disappointing but Amazon customer service was extremely helpful. I highly recommend reaching out to them for assistance if needed. Besides that mishap I have no complaints. The basket that comes with the bed is perfect for placing a book, phone, inhaler, and other smaller items. The hooks that also came with the bed are great for hanging jackets and backpacks and little brothers iPad when needed. We were able to push a tall 5 drawer dresser underneath with room to spare so my kiddo could fit what he needed on top (toys, books, a lamp). Without a doubt, a small desk and chair set up would fit nicely on the side opposite of the dresser.

Please, please, PLEASE rethink this purchase before you buy this bed. I cannot stress that enough. I purchased two of these twin-sized metal loft beds to give each of my boys more space in their bedrooms, and what I thought would be a great solution turned into a frustrating, disappointing, and honestly concerning experience. I’ll start with the assembly process, because that alone should have been a warning sign. It took about two hours with two adults working together, and even then, it was not a smooth process. The instructions were not very clear, and the biggest issue we ran into was with the screws and alignment. So many of the holes were slightly off, which made it extremely difficult to get the screws in properly. We had to force several of them, and even then, they didn’t feel like they were going in securely. Nothing lined up the way it should have, and for something that is supposed to support weight and be slept on every night, that is a huge red flag. After finally getting both beds put together, we made sure to anchor them securely to the wall, thinking that would provide the extra stability and safety they clearly needed. Unfortunately, that made little to no difference. The biggest and most alarming issue with these beds is how unstable they are. The moment you climb the ladder, the entire bed starts to shake and wobble. Not just a little bit—but enough to make you immediately question how safe it really is. Getting in and out of the bed feels uneasy every single time. Even once you’re up there and just laying down, you can feel the movement. Any slight shift causes the whole frame to wobble, which is incredibly unsettling. This is NOT stable. It does NOT feel secure. And most importantly, it does NOT feel safe for anyone—especially children. As a parent, that is the most important factor for me, and these beds completely fail in that area. The last thing I want is to worry about a bed collapsing, tipping, or causing an injury in the middle of the night. For something that is marketed as a functional, space-saving solution, it completely misses the mark. Yes, it technically creates more floor space underneath, but at what cost? Peace of mind and safety should never be compromised like this. To make matters worse, now that they are fully assembled, returning them feels almost impossible. These beds are large, bulky, and not easy to take apart and repack. The thought of having to disassemble everything, figure out how to package it back up, and potentially pay a high cost to return them is incredibly frustrating. It feels like we’re stuck with something we don’t trust or feel comfortable using. Overall, this has been a very disappointing purchase. Between the difficult assembly, poor alignment, cheap construction, and serious stability issues, I would strongly advise anyone considering this bed to look elsewhere. There are safer, sturdier options out there that are actually worth your money. Again—please rethink this purchase. I truly wish I had.

I was concerned because some of the other reviews said it was difficult to set up or collapsed easily. I was perfectly stable. I even climbed on top and it did not collapse. The assembly was easy. I did most of it myself and only called my spouse in when I needed someone to hold up an end of it. Good price for what it was.

I ordered this one for myself (petite middle-aged female) to save some space. I was a bit worried after reading a negative review while waiting for the delivery. The assembly maybe took me a few hours. I managed to do it by myself. It's been two weeks since I started sleeping on it and so far I am happy with the purchase. It squeaks a bit, but it's not wobbly once I got used to it. Mine is black and it matches the desk I have underneath. Because the ladder is angled, my cat can climb up to and down from the bed and she seems to like it, too.
