This is a good size for a few drinks and snacks for a couple of people. You can fit the number of cans in the cooler they say but there is no room for ice packs and the cooler is stuffed. We use it to pack 6-10 cans with snacks and it work fine. It is not water proof, the zipper will leak so you are better off not using ice but the sealed ice packs. It's a good soft cooler, I've used it well enough that it has proven its worth. Does keep things cold, I use two ice packs and pre chill the drinks and it works great. Used it for traveling and camping where I'm constantly opening and closing it to get juice pouches for the kids. I've felt it sort of leaked once, but I think it was more condensation that seeped trough because still holds water to this day; So be mindful of that. But I love it, the side pockets are great for small snacks and putting my keys or phone on. It's small enough to keep close by inside my truck for drinks on road trips so I don't have to stop , and they stay cold.
