Oh my....what an improvement over a hose pot! I'm going to buy another one for my back yard. My handyman installed it for me so I can't really comment about that other than to say he had no trouble at all with it. It looks unobtrusive in my front yard and it does the job fantastically well.. One does need to pull the hose out a bit if intending to use it on either side but once I got that down everything else has been perfect. There's no leaking at the wall or under the reel, it doesn't scoot unless you are trying to pull the hose sideways out of the reel, and it holds 100' of hose easily, very easily. The rolling up part is the best. No longer am I rolling a hose into a pot. I simply drop the hose onto the driveway and then reel it in. Easy. No tangling at all. The reel inside moves the hose back and forth on the reel keeping it from kinking or rolling too much on one end or in the middle. The box is vented so I don't think my hose will mildew, etc. I garden a lot and this is my favorite tool now.

This is my second of this hose reel. This is very sturdy and well made and much better alternative to the plastic ones I’ve gotten at local retailers. The handle is very solid and allows me to put the force and leverage to reel in long hoses with ease. It just feels solid. It did cost more than the plastic ones but I expect to last much longer and worth the investment and will save money over the long run. The guide organizes the hose well and maximizes the amount of hose that can be stored. I have a large yard so I typically have a couple of hoses on the reel to reach where I need it. Aesthetically it looks great and stylish.

Nice sturdy product. I like that the metal feet raise the box above the ground. All metal products eventually rust, so the feet will keep the main body off the ground, away from water. I am replacing a previous metal hose reel from 15 years ago so I am particularly cognizant of that aspect. The connections look pretty good quality - no leaks out of the box. Leader hose is well done. Very easy to put together. I did notice when feeding the hose for the first time that it's possible for the hose to have extra slack - there's nothing "holding" the hose as you reel, so if it cranks backwards, it is possible for the hose to get tangled in the reel, but I think it would be hard to design around that. The hole that the hose goes through is large enough to accept a hose connection if the connection is not huge. I like the flat top so I can place items like small sprinklers or nozzles on top.

This isn’t cheap but is really nice quality and works well. It was easy to put together and fit our hose perfectly. Really tidied up our patio and made putting away the hose super easy. It pulls out smoothly and winds up easily. Best part is it serves as an end table to our patio furniture and looks nice with matching black metal on the coffee table.

Very well made and study. Easy to assemble the legs and handle without an issue and the hardware feels to be of high quality. No issues setting it up and running a new 150' hose through it. I do recommend to use thread tape on each connection and slowly turning on the water to fill the lines gradually so there is not a pressure issue although this hose box is very study and well constructed. I've had others that broken apart turning the water on too fast. I highly recommend this one!

I love everything about the sturdy, good-looking metal cabinet and hose reel. Quality made and all the hook ups are sturdy metal so it can securely hold and wind heavy duty hoses without springing a leak, kinking, or getting stuck while winding. Unfortunately, the leader hose is not as well made. Immediately leaked upon connection. I know it was the hose because I bought a quality replacement and it connected without any leaks. Wish I could get a partial refund for the defective hose. Don’t want to bother with returning the whole thing for the hose.

I've had it for about 10 months now. No serious issues with the box itself. It's fallen over before, but it reels just fine. it was a pretty simple setup and I use it almost every day. I do have some kinks in my hose at times, but I think that's just the hose itself.
