It took me about 2 1/2 hours to assemble by myself due to the directions weren't very clear and the images slightly smeared when it was printed. This is a decent little enclosure for a chicken run. I'd say the description is accurate for 6-8 chickens. It is not "predator-proof" because it could easily be dug under and is lightweight enough to just lift right up so would need to be used inside another enclosure or reinforced if predators are a concern in your area. We're using it to isolate breed pairs from our flock and it works well for that but does need a bit of extra weather protection or a coop connected to it for full-time living as the little tarp-covered area provides very little weather protection. Assembly is fairly easy and took less than 30 minutes but the instructions had a couple of spots that weren't very clear about which side of a piece you were working with. At the mid-height of the 2 sections of the coop there is a spot where 2 horizontal bars are very close together (circled in red in the last photo with this review) which is where the center bracing bar attaches so be sure the side that has those close bars is set in the center of the coop, not at the end. This has held up well to mild wind, some snow and rain so far. It's easy to move and access through the multiple doors. Overall, I'm happy with this for the purpose we're using it for. ... show more

We just secured it to wood on the bottom so the chicks couldn't dig out. Super easy to assemble. A tad more flimsy that I was expecting so we added rooster bars for extra support. The chicks love it!
