It took me two hours and several sessions of cursing and kicking things to put this thing together, and I'm usually quite good at assembling furniture. Be sure to look *carefully* at the directions to make sure you're putting the different pieces in the correct orientation. It doesn't point out which screw holes need to go down so that you can screw something into them 2 steps later in the directions. Trying to put the base onto the leg parts was a nightmare because there's nothing to rest it on and if it's not exactly square, the screws won't go in. There are four little metal brackets that you add in the last step and I could only get three of them in, and that was with loosening everything back up and then pounding them into place. During the assembly process, I've already bent one bar at the back of the bed, so I don't foresee this thing being particularly sturdy. I've also scratched up the paint around most of the screws because I had to take almost all of them in and out several times. PROS: -It's cheap. -It arrived at the start of the shipping window that was provided when I ordered. -The seller confirmed my address, which seemed thoughtful. CONS: -It's cheap. The bars are all hollow and fairly flimsy, especially the small ones. -It's almost impossible to put together without two people. -It's kind of squeaky, even with all of the screws tightened as far as I could get them. BOTTOM LINE: If given a second chance, I wouldn't buy this bed. I'd spend a little more money and get something nicer. I also definitely wouldn't put it together by myself.

its ok. basic bunk-beds. we needed something to create more space in kids room and we don't have a lot of room to work with. it took a little to get all the bars to fit in because theres only 2 screws on each side (4 total) its sub-par. to say the least wouldn't buy again or recommend. if you can, more expensive ones will be sturdier
