I bought this to replace a Porter Cable 6 gallon pancake that is quite loud, but this is even louder. It takes about 3-4 minutes to come to full pressure and for the motor to stop running. So far I've used it for riveting, car tire inflation, and blowing off debris from my miter saw and lawn mower. It is definitely powerful. Very loud but it's an air compressor so I expected that. Builds at quickly and I used it for sand blasting with an 1/8 fitting on my gun and works great . Holds pretty good have to stop every little bit to build more pressure but definitely worth the money

I was going to purchase the smaller pancake compressor that only put up to 150psi, but as i was looking over specs on this one, later in day a returned unit appears for less thsn the 150 psi version. Bought it! Amazon said returned unit was used and damaged, cosmetics damage. Received it Tuesday the only "damage" i find is a scratched decal and slightly bent leg-foot with the rubber damper. Thats it! It looks completely New, works like new for the short time running it. Its not as loud as ppl make it out to be, but they may not have been around Industrial equipment as I have in past, Its actually not near as loud as i was expecting, it charges to 200psi within a few minutes, i didn't time it. Nice to have a air compressor that can actually Fill a Tire that run at 50psi without waiting for 15 minutes using a 12 volt emergency compressor! I'll be putting this in back of Tahoe on trips! So far the compressor works well it’s supplies great pressure. It does take a while to re-pressurize as you’re using the air, but with the wide range of flow it all allows you to get decent pressure throughout your project.

It works really well. I have used my impact wrench with it several times, and helps quickly fill up over-sized truck tires. My only complaint is that this thing is definitely deafening to use. I have to put on ear protection to use it.
