The C1810DFA is a 18V MultiVolt Cordless 10 Inch Single Bevel Miter Saw Kit - the first of its kind in the market. In addition to the Xact Cut LED Shadow Line system for cutting accuracy, this miter has a sweeping 52 degree miter capacity to the left and right and a 45 degree left bevel capacity to make compound cuts in any lighting condition with ease. This cordless miter saw weighs in at just 19.6 lbs. for a perfect combination of sturdiness and portability for the professional or DIYer looking for a time-saving miter saw at a great price. The kit comes with a 18V/36V 5.0 Ah MultiVolt battery and a rapid charger with USB port that can power through 180 2 x 4 cuts on a single charge. Additional features include multiple common miter stops, electric brake, a thumb activated miter lock, a super efficient brushless motor capable of 3,800 RPM, a large extendable rip fence to help cut large work pieces, and 5-year Metabo HPT warranty for peace of mind. This 18V MultiVolt Cordless 10" Single Bevel Miter Saw is part of the expanding MultiVolt System of 18-Volt and 36-Volt power tools from Metabo HPT. My hitachi 10" slider weighs 42 lbs and my old cast iron delta 60 lbs. The blade on this metabo is a perfect 90 degrees off the fence and has a rear support that prevents ass over tea kettle rollovers. The little saw has all the little things that my big chop saws are missing. The most important factor is the weight, 19.6 lbs feels featherlight and is a one-arm job. ... show more

I was really surprised to find a battery-run miter saw. Due to the low price, I didn't have much hope that it would be a good product. I was pretty shocked when I assembled it, fired it up and cut some baseboard. It works great & is 100% accurate. It is a light weight cordless saw, It needs getting use to, not as accurate as my 12" saw but what use it for it does the job, I only used it two days and need to workout some small details with it, I did put better blade on it.
