    • The German made Metabo tools are of higher class than what you get at the big box stores. Love them!
5 Stars for the product as it is quality product in every way. These cordless tool batteries somehow out last the equivalently sized DeWalt and Makita, which are not bad as well as several other of the cheaper brands. I do not even bring a charger to work with me as the batteries last far longer than what I need to use the tools during the work day. Hitachi has acquired the name "Metabo" and has now been producing Metabo branded tools for the big hardware stores but these are not the tool products I am referring to here. They may be great but I have not used anything Hitachi except the pneumatic tools that are now also called Metabo, which were a great pneumatic tool line. The product here that I say is quality that stands above the rest are the Metabo still made in Germany in I think 1 or maybe 2 factories. I have 4 tools now and everyone is fantastic. Side note. Amazon had this for a new price that I paid as well as offering a used price for one that had been opened but all components there. I decided to buy the unopened new tool but when I got it, it was in a box that had been retaped up with the items not in the exact spot inside box. It was however in perfect shape as far as I could tell with the manual and accessories accounted for so I did keep it. I do wish I could have also kept the discount for receiving the opened package label used for I think $30 less than I paid. I would give Amazon for slipping me the the opened tool labeled used for the price of the new one 2 or at best 3 stars though. ... show more

Not compatible with Metabo HPT. Nice looking tool though. Made in Germany.

    • Beware!!!! Does Not Work With Metabo HPT Battery System
I'm giving this 1 star review because the listing did not state it won't work the the Metabo 18v HPT Battery System. This is a sister brand and uses a different Battery system. I bought the Metabo HPT 16g Brad nailer and Pin nailer which work Great but the Jig saw uses a completely different battery system. Now I will need to either use this as a paper weight or buy another charger and battery system just for this jig saw. I wish they made a dual charger for both battery system. Will most likely buy a corded model as I am disappointed with this one. ... show more
